Well, don't you think she could be Jade? I mean, she really looked like Jade, and her storyline was just so similar to Jade's - friend of Kitana, but loyal to the emperor. What do you think about it? |
They may have had Jade in mind when they wrote in Qali, but I don't think she is exactly the same character.
As for Qali being loyal to the emperor, more like scared of him. Remember, she later in the series started working for Quan Chi.
