Word of advice Pyro. Don't take the movies as fact. They were not made by Midway, and are not part of the real MK storyline.

As for whether Reptile IS the last of his race, it is hard to say. There was a character in the N64 version of MKT named Khameleon, a female ninja pallete swap with all the female ninja moves. Her ending says that she is another of Reptile's race, the Zaterrans.

But we don't know what happened to Khameleon, or if she should even be counted as a "real" character. She was basically a secret extra like Mokap, and only appears in the N64 MKT.

Reptile's race was the victims of genocide during Shinnok's war against the Elder Gods 10,000 years ago. There were survivors from that epic battle that I believe are Reptile's ancestors. Reptile I believe was taken in by Shao Kahn and I believe that his other ancestors either died out, or mabey disapeared and had other offspring. It could explain why Khameleon exists and possible other characters with Reptile's same origin.

Of course Khameleon is a real character. She is mentioned in MKDA's Konquest Mode (for Nitara) as well, but I could have told you she was real before that.

We don't really know how many are remaining - in Reptile's MKII ending there had been a couple of them. Even though that ending never happened, they still existed, but anything could have happened to them since then.

Khameleon was in MK2 (im pretty sure thats the righ one) on PC. You couldn't fight as her, but you could fight against her. Not sure whether it was an unlockable or just happened on rare occasions. But I clearly remember getting my butt kicked time and time again by her.

I think that was Jade. Was she basically a green version of Kitana that was super fast, and u fought in Goro's lair.

Khameleon has only been in MKT on the N64. She was gray version of Kitana/Mileena/Jade and used all their moves etc. Much like Chameleon in MKT on other platforms. Although, Khameleon, the female, had an actual story AND an ending, whereas the male Chameleon didnt, so I dont really count him as a real character. Khameleon definitley is though.

I think she will still be alive somewhere, no doubt searching for Reptile or others. I personally think Reptile will have died as a result of Onaga's control, so I hope we see Khameleon back to avenge his death. I see her as a Kreeya/Vorpax type character, for those who didnt see MKConquest, they were basically queens of their races who bread with males from other realms and spawned numerous fast growing powerful fighters. Khameleon could do that to re-establish her race perhaps. I wrote a story for her and its around this forum somewhere.

Plus to whoever asked about MKAnnihilation.....well I wouldnt pay much attention to that storyline wise.

Thousands of years ago after the Earth realm was formed, the Elder God named Shinnok decided to try and take the Earth realm and have unlimited power. Not wanting a confrontation by the other Elder Gods, Shinnok created an amulet that would allow him access to the Earth Realm without intervention from the other five Elder Gods; this amulet could only be created once. Unfortunately for Shinnok; the Elder Gods (including himself) appointed a protector for the Earth realm, this protector is known as the God of Thunder- Raiden. Shinnok and Raiden battled for centuries for the fate of the Earth realm. Raiden eventually defeated Shinnok and with the other Elder Gods assistance, and banished Shinnok to the Netherrealm, a place that is inhabited by demons and a place that twists mortals into vicious monsters called Onis. However on Earth the war caused a near extinction of the raptor race, few raptors fled to the realm of Zaterra.

Three of the realms Kahn conquered were the realms of Zaterra, Edenia and a Vampire realm. The realm of Zaterra is where the raptor people fled to after the war between Raiden and Shinnok. Shao Kahn eventually took total control of the realm of Zaterra, the raptors were killed and close to extinction. One raptor named Reptile eventually became apart of Shao Kahn's army. One other raptor survived and was the only one who knew the truth about their race, her name was Khameleon.

I think it is time for Khameleon to be revealed to all of the Mortal Kombat warriors and also be united with Reptile. After all the hell Reptile has been through and all of the information he was not given of his home race, Khameleon could easily take Reptile under her wing and influence him.

Let me get this straight because of the war betwween Raiden and Shinnok 10 thousand years ago it led to a near demise of a raptor race. So My geuss is that reptile was part of that race but a few was able to flee to zaterra but is reptile part human?Okay in mk he was a ninja with the powers of a reptile but in mk4 it looked liked looked like his real race and in deadly alliance he was an actual reptile so this leads me to a good question is reptile part human? and what about khameleon if she comes back in a mk game will she under go the same transformation as reptile or will she stay the same?

no one knows for sure, Only time has the answer,, If you wait long enough also you will find out.

i know its quite obvious that hes not but why was chamelion part of the species ive heard lots of things about that he was an experiment and one farfetched one that said he was the last survivor of a rival race to reptiles so wat the deal with him?


oh and by the way in the MK cartoon i remember a part when scorpion went to his "elders" or somethin and there was like 4 other reptiles

Hey Raiden16, I have a little theory on that. I read that Reptile joined Shao Kahn and considering Shoa Kahn killed Onaga what if Reptile was a high raking offical of Onaga's. Do you think Onaga would think that Reptile had a hand in it? And seeing that Reptile is the only surving male member of race maybe he decide that he would curse Reptile to start de-evloving in his more primative form. So Onaga being reptilan himself because think about it he is known as, "The Dragon King", while Shunjinko was gathing the Kamidogu he watched Reptile go through the changes, and finally realizing that the vampire girl was the cause of Shao Kahn's death realized that he was heading for his egg chamber desided to use him. So when the egg cracked it allowed him to transfer his spirit into Reptile thus transforming him into Onaga and maybe either killing Reptile or making a speck in a extraordinary whole. Well that is what I think.
