Scene in The Serpent And The Ice

Hello.

I had a question about the great MKC episode called The Serpent And The Ice. I had seen this episode on TV when MKC was aired, and loved it.

Later, when I found it on DVD, the first five minutes were missing (the scene where Sub-zero and Scorpion first are introduced to Shao Kahn and get their orders to kill Kung Lao).

I'm just wondering if there's any way to find those missing five minutes anywhere else?

Any information would be appreciated.

It's only on the Australian DVD that I am aware of, as is the part in the Mileena episode where Kahn says "Send Rain!". Sorry that I can't help you

Loved that episode...
"get over here"
"i take no orders from you"
that conflict was some of the best dialogue in any tv series at the time

Siang....tsc tsc...you disapoint me... That episode sucked so bad. If not for that piece of sweet Sub-Zero/Scorpion confrontation and the fights, there was nothing to the episode. It was total crap and hardly anything in it made sense.

It was pretty much the confrontation that made the episode that allowed me to overlook everything else. I think the bookends were the strongest episodes

I agree with Siang..The fight scenes in that episode are really good, Kinda lets you overlook how bad the story of the episode actually is.

Lucky you, it doesn't allow me. I don't really watch the episode, I just skip right to the fights sometimes. I think Kung Lao vs. Scorpion's ninjas is better than the first Scorpion vs. Sub-Zero fight and almost as good as the second.
