I'd like to see it happen. We'd finally get to see what the spear impact would be like and how'd he go about finished the opponent after snaring them

The people in charge of making the movies are probably thinking that a Mortal Kombat movie would usually attract kids. Also that parents who are ignorant about what MK is about would take their kids to the movie and complain that it is too violent (even though someone being impaled by a spear would make the movie rated "R"). Their conclusion would be that the more kids they can get to the movies, the more money they can make. This is done at the cost of fans everywhere wanting to see a movie that is true to the game.

well, we had that im MKC. Though there, it wasn't a spear, but quite simply some snake-creature.

Yeah, and it grabs on to the throat of the opponent and rips it out... Which is cool!

I loved Scorpion's living spear in the Mortal Kombat movies. I thought it added alot of depth to a then vague character.

And i'd like to see it impale through someone's chest like a super-powered spear going all the way through rather then getting lodged in the chest cavity, Then the "Neck" could act like a saw and slice all the way through one side of the victim's body as it continues to slide at great speeds through the victim's body in Mortal Kombat 3.

...But that's just me...

It would be the highlight of the next movie. I have been wanting to see it happen since the first movie came out. Scorpion's spear is one of the best moves in the MK games and to see it impale someone on the big screen would be awesome.

Yeah I've always wanted to see that, but hopefully the spear would look like the one in Mortal Kombat, not Annihilation the two-headed spear sucked.

yah, I also would like to see someone get hit by scorpions spear...and a few peices of them coming out the other side.

Yeah, I would like to see Scorpion's spear impale someone. I want it to impale Shinnok right in the head.

Does Scorpion's spear always have a creature's head in the games?:-s I thought it was just a like a normal spear with something that pokes you. What also sucks about his spear in the movies is that it didnt even last that long to begin with. When I watch the movies next time, i'm gonna time how long the spears last.

They last about 10 seconds in MKA and that's it.

I would like to see "Scorpion's Spear" get shot into a monk's chest and tear out his heart.

Scorpion is an evil character, the thing that makes him different from the rest of the evil characters is that he has honor and pride.

If I would see a new Mortal Kombat movie I would like to see a scene of Scorpion walking through fire while some powerful music plays.

Ive also heard that in an early version of the script Scorpion did infact impale someone with his spear - It was in the demonstration scene where Sub Zero and Scorpion lead out all those fighters and Subby freezes the jump kicking unfortunate fighter. Also Subby wasn't supposed to just freeze him, he was originally intended to freeze him solid, then perform his Head-Rip fatality. This was early on when the movie was intended to be an R feature. Also giving truth to this is the fact that Scorpion can be seen leading out the fighters, but does not participate in the demonstration as his scene was cut for content.

He really should get someone, but lets make the spear an actual spear, and not a friggin snake this time.

I've grown quite fond of that snake-head spear. And I would like to see him finally get some use oout of it.

never in any movie of MK you're going to see Scorpion impaling someone with the spear.as someone said that movies are made child oriented,i mean,we're never going to see the spine rip fatality or "toasty" fatality in a MK movie,and that's a shame for us,the MK fans.
