The best set by far. And although he is sadly the poorest selling figure so far (Iv'e sceen no less then 30 some odd of him), Kano is could easly be the best figure in the set. His lock of sonyas hair necklace comes on a real pice of string tied around his neck. Very detailed. The boot knives also slip into the boot sheeths. And the head was scaled down from it;s original proto size to make it more accurate.

I had to order noob and reptile online casue the 5 TRU's (toys r us) i went to to get the figures the morning they arrived already had people waiting for them (I.E 2 or 3 people were at every store at 10 AM to get them and in all fairness it's first come first serve). That fact that their usaly the same amount of people up at that time to buy marvel, Star Wars & WWE figures every day (all of which i also collect) says alot about the MK line and that it obviously sells extrely well. Johnny cage was the only other one i was able to find out of the set and i've only found 3 of him.

The lingering series 1, 2 & 2.5 figures are lone gone as well, unlike say... street fighter figures which they still have crap from 2 years ago lingering about. Jazwares better hurry their ass and start pumping out lines before the demand dies down. And even today on my trip to 3 diff TRU's i only found about 5 kanos left. The line deff has some major interest.

And for those wondering so far all wepaons with the figures have either been generic pick up weapons from MKSM or character specific weapons with the excpetion of one. That being mileena's sais. I know their was initially more scuplts of figure we didn't get to see when they first started, and after seeing the sais i assume mileena was one of them. Noob was one of the first pics we saw of the sculpts and he didnt get him till just a couple months ago. And when the line was first announced we were told their was going to be a goro that was already beyond the planning stage. So heres hopeing the next wave has those 2.

I know jazwears is a realtivly small company and unlike hasbro, toy biz & jakks pacific which hold most of the major action figure licences their gonna take alot longer to get stuff out. But damn is it worth it when it gets here. The price point of a super detailed figure with a stand and half a dozen wepaons with it for only $5.99 is also helping the crap outta thier sales. I would have gone $7.99-$8.99 easy for these but their not.

Yeah, not really the right place to discuss it. I'd say Overall Mortal Kombat Discussion for something like this. Don't worry though, someone will move it soon. The only figure I don't like that much there is Kano, the necklace with the lock of Sonya's hair looks too greenish, maybe it's just the picture. And why does it say from MK: Deception from him? The others look cool too, I might get some of em sometime. I'd like to get Cage and Reptile, and I like the Sub-Zero MKSM one although it's not one of the new ones. I already have Liu and Kung Lao.

i live in manchester, england and to me it seems noob is the poorest delling figures. I haven't got noob yet (i have the other three) largely because i'm skint and have to get them as i can afford them- i got the more popular ones first as they were more likely to sell out and not come back in stock.

I'm pleased to say kano seems to be the best selling one here (that's just from my observation- i've not seen any sales figures) but i do think kano is the best figure (out of the entire series) followed closely by reptile.

i thought reptiles tongue didn't look so good out the pack, but have attached it to the spare reptile head and given it to sub to hold in a MK1 fatality!

any idea who the next lot of figures might be?

WOW. noob's the poorest selling? Here he's deff the best selling and on top of that he's the highest genericly priced online at all the major e-tailers. Damn ur lucky.

Anywhom if jazwears current release pattern stays the same it i would venture to say we should get pics anytime now of series 4. Unlike alot of major toy series online retailers and regular stores seems to have gotten the MK line within the same week. Series 1 showed up November-Dcember 2005. Series 2 july-august 2006. Series 3 November-December 2006. So i'de have to go with july as being when we'll get series 4.

Like i said before So far the only non-generic or character specifc wepaon we have gotten so far was a pair of sais so i assume mileena was one of the oginal deception protos we never saw. I'de venture to say with all the request for female figures in the line she'ed be the most likely one. Sorry friends but sonya has a track record of being the poorest selling figure every time she's been released (Hasbro, Toy island, palasides, Infinite concepts). IMO i'm not gonna hold my breath for her. As for the other 3 figures in the set we still have that goro we were promised.
