Would it be cool to have Mortal Kombat:Shaolin Monks as an movie if so should it be just like the game or different characters in it?

No, just No. MKSM was an awesome game, but would suck as a movie. I mean, like every character got killed off.

The storyline for Shaolin Monks was terrible, with too many inconsistencies to the real game. I didn't like the storyline, so I'd hate to see it as a film.

Agreed. It wasn't canon, so it wouldn't make a good movie, unless you want to see MK Annihilation II.

I am still sticking to my idea of a cartoon that tells the exact story of the games in canon fashion.

I think elements of it would be great to work into the story if they are redoing the first movie.
Especially the intro video
