I've been wanting to redo FOMA for years, but more possible projects keep showing up which just makes me delay it over and over again. I don't think I'll be getting around to doing it at all with my wrestling going so well right now, but I'd love it if someone else gave it a shot.

Mortal Kombat NGOMA (Next Generation Of Martial Arts) and how it would be a cool way to promote the MK:NG movie.

Umm if it has characters from your movie, no thanks. We want authentic MK characters fighting, nothin you created. Sorry if that sounds mean, but you can do the fights real good, you're skilled at that, but us fans want FOMA to be about MK characters. Look, I can write the matches and you can film them, after all i'm a writer.

No oh god please no.And no stupid next generation of anything i can not stand that title as it is.Also one thing i never understood is,why say next generation when you are still using the same characters ,it just doesn't make sense.

I agree. I'll let the guy film the fights, because his fights are hot, but thats it! lol. But as far as story/characters, just let us handle that :)

Lol we keep going over this sonicherosfan1. It's called Next Generation because it has 3 new main characters (much like the MK Conquest series) in addition to well known MK characters from the games. What is so hard to understand? If you ever watched the series you would know that this has been done.

Honestly everyone else in my movie sticks pretty much to the MK storyline. Kira and Havik are new recruits to the Black Dragon, Stryker is a riot control cop, Noob is the former Sub-Zero, Kitana & Mileena battle it out, Bo Rai Cho trains fighters at the Wushi Academy, Lui Kang is dead, Darrius forms an alliance with Havik, the list goes on. Not to mention it's a direct sequel to the first two movies. What is bothering you?

As for FOMA the only reason we titled it NGOMA is so people don't think that we are the same creators of the original and it avoids (very few) copyright dangers. I never said there was any intention on creating new characters for it though, so calm down lol.

Hey, I agree that if a FOMA was to return, I'd want it to be with the classic MK characters. It doesn't even have to be too hard, use Noob Saibot, Scorpion, Johnny Cage, Kung Lao, Sonya, Sub-Zero, Reptile, Mileena... All pretty basic character designs that shouldn't take up a lot of money. But what kind of attitude is that, ''professer''?

I just don't like the title Next Generation for any thing really.

But I really don't want there to be another FOMA.
Its cheesy,they didn't take it seriously and why would they to?
I could barely keep my eyes on the ,monitor when i did watch it cause the acting was horrible and the cameras and background made me wonder why they just didn't have someone from here to it cause it looked liked a highschool project.

If there were to be another one of these.I think it would be after a 3/remake/rewhatever is made and even then it would depend on money that they made back from the movie.

And I know it's "professor", its supposed to be funny. Anyway, this guy is horrid, his Kira looks like a homeless transgendered teen, when I saw her i didn't say "oh cool!" I started to cry and call Dr.phil to get that boy/girl some help. But to be honest, did you read the guy's idea for a sequel? The three main characters time traveling back in time witn ken and ryu from streetfighter to the days of the great kung lao? wtf? Like I said, he could do good fights, but thats it.

He's not coming no where near the story or characters. and thats thats.

My point is, who are you to ''let'' anyone do whatever? I agree with you about the ideas - they're bad. But your approach is very negative and arrogant. That's my point, so I hope you don't reply saying ''but look how bad Kira looks!''. That's not the point (and she looks hot IMO).

My approach my dear sir, is honest. I was simply pointing out the irony in the fact that I was just talking with actors about FOMA recently and we were coming up with ideas.

Whatever it is that you want to do as far as producing a FOMA is up to you and no one here is stopping you. The same goes for me and my projects. If you don't like my film or the ideas I have concerning FOMA then you don't have to watch it, plain and simple. Meanwhile why don't you pick up a camera and contribute something useful toward the Movies and Media Discussion page.

Any issues you may have with the actors in my film aside from their performance and acting abilities need to be put to rest. You don't know them, and they don't know you. Last time I checked they don't post on the board here, nor have they shown disrespect toward you. I understand you may be 16 (according to your profile) and that the transgendered may be an uncommon phenomena for you, however none of my actors are of transgendered sex.

Whatever discrimination, hatred, or issues you have as far as men, women, sexual orientation, or gender need to be kept to yourself and is a violation of the board rules.
