What's the matter, James? No glib remark? No pithy comeback?

In MK:A, rain said something about them being taken, not killed or anything. So if he was to return do you think he needs to be in the costume from the MK3 game or a new one?

Sorry but unless Stryker returns in MK:D I don't see him making an appearence in the new movie. He was only around for MK3 (the game) and that storyline ended in the second movie. There is just no place for him in the third movie unless they make an even greater departure from the storyline than they did in the first two movies.

I think that the theme for the next Mortal Kombat game should be mythical. I don't really want to see some modern day refrences. However, I do want to see modern day mortals fighting against the ancient evils that are in the Outworld and Netherealm.

I think the third movie should return to it roots and concentrate on Mortal Kombat being a false tournament. Shinnok could be the deceptive host of the tournament and have famous Mortal Kombat characters fight each other to the death untill the mortals relize what is really happening. The second half of the movie could concentrate on the fall of Shinnok and his right hand man Quan Chi.

I think Stryker would not fit into that storyline. He is a modern day police officer and he should stay on Earth. I also think a police officer who uses a gun and bombs would be out of place in a tournament that involves mythical beasts and warriors who shoot fire balls out of the palms of their hands.
