MK 3 isnt cancelled!!! is it?

the original mk3 movie(which had should seen the light back in 2003) never had a script,they just hired robin shou and chris cassamassa and begun to shoot some fighting scenes and find a good locations.
but a year later hurricane Katrne blew up everything.
the old script never seen "officially" the light and furthermore,considering how easily they tried to delete it and forgive about ,the script wasn't that great.
i really doubt that they will release online the script because they'll take the few good ideas for the upcoming movie.
and if they're going to release something not by official channel but only but unreliable sources.
and we already know how unreliable sources are treated on the online community...
so give up,sorry man !

It would be interesting to see the past MK3 scripts. I'd really love to see the original script that Kung-Lao (from mortalkombat.com ) had told us about.
I don't see it happening though.

Part 3 had better be a reboot.

The first movie was ok, but the second was terribad.

I doubt that they would do that, as they still have plans to film this (hopeully sometime this decade). I know they did release the MKA script for a short period of time. They eventually took it down, however. The script was slightly better than what was on film (mostly additional dialogue) - does anybody have this saved? If so, please post away :D

OK, first of all, if you want to turn this into a serious conversation, you will not try to insult me by comparing me to a monkey or whatever you were trying to do.
Second, I called bullshit because you didn't back up ANYTHING you said, and you made some pretty big statements. Saying that they actually shot fight scenes in 2003 is a fairly bold thing to say, and you didn't back it up. And I've been following the progress of MK movies since 2001, on the main source of info at the time, mortalkombat.com .
Thirdly, why would they put scripts online? It's not like it's something commonly done.

By the way, piece of advice: If you want to insult someone's intelligence and ask them to speak a human language, don't botch your grammar every three words.

I hope you will respond seriously, backing up all that info that you (of all people) would exclusively know. I'm not claiming to be more intelligent than anyone else, but you basically said you knew more about the production of the movie than anyone else here, since you mentioned stuff that no one has ever claimed before.

With that in mind, are you trying to say that they aren't posting the old scripts because they filmed a handful of scenes for them and may want to use the ideas?
To be quite blunt here, Threshold and any other person involved with the 3rd movie/reboot movie has absolutely no reason to post any portions of old or new script, any reason you give is pointless anyway. Who would post scripts of movies that have never been (without gaining some kind of profit or other benefit from it)?
With that in mind, don't insult him just because he's calling your idea "bullshit." You're the one who stating your theory, and so it's your job to prove it with evidence and not more theories, and it is not right for you to insult him on a personal level because he does not agree with your theory. Without evidence, he does not have to believe your ideas, and insulting him does not help your case.

But then said that there was ONE original script.

But even though they destroyed that, AND it wasn't all that good in the first place since they easily forgot about it, they don't want to release it online because there are still some ideas they may want to use.
And even if they did release it, they'd only release it through an unofficial source online (I don't understand why, yet, though).

Considering how low was the budget of the second movie and how quick were the producers to make it(let's think about it..MK was published in 1995,Annihiliation in 1997,two years..not properly an eternity in the movie industry).
Now it is rumored that a third movie is in the works since 1997,after the Annihiliation flop,in 2003 Robin Shou clearly stated that the crew began to shoot but hurricane katrina destroyed everything and this event delayed the movie until a lethal point.
So actually,IF SOMTHING ABOUT THE MOVIE really exists it should be on youtube and similars(a lot of unpublished movies have trailers,few scenes,etc) on the net.
If something really existed:
1)they destroyed everything because they were not happy about the final result
2)robin shou and the rest of the crew didn't film anything back in 2003,thus katrina didn't destroy anything related to the third movie.

Anyway, considering this was bumped a while ago, I'm just going to close this thread before I lose more IQ points trying to understand the "logic" being presented here. With that in mind, lastfighter89, you insulted Zentile, and devoted your entire post to degrading him, while he called your idea unreliable and asked for proof. How that cannot be clear to you is just beyond me, so that's as good an explanation that I'll offer.
