For the impaler who has everything, Syco Collectibles are expanding their Mortal Kombat lineup with a unique and unexpected twist on the license -- decapitated heads on a pike!?

Mini Heads cut the fat (and the rest of the body) to deliver collectible versions of just the iconic mugs found atop a fighters shoulders.

Not quite on a pike, an 11" stand allows for interchangeable display of characters, accomodating future releases for fans keen to skip straight to the head. All future Mini Heads will be made available with options to buy with or without display stand.

The series begins with merchandising staple and all around hellacious ninja, Scorpion, and his cold-blooded green-skin equivalent, Reptile.

This is the first time Reptile has appeared in a Syco product, hand painted and sculpted to match the most recent design featured in Mortal Kombat games. In his fourth product incarnation, Scorpion has the distinction of this time baring his spectral skull-face, exposed on the right side [thumbnail gallery below]. Scorpion too is based on recent designs, fully masked on his left.

Previous Scorpion releases include the standard 10" Polystone Statue, 18" Premium Statue and 1:2 Scale Bust. The standard 10" line will soon be complimented with completed versions of Noob Saibot and Johnny Cage.
