I'm sure she's getting trained for the role; Regardless, she's a hell of an actress and you shouldn't stereotype her cuz of one role.

Hopefully the idiots in charge of casting have learned their lesson and will only hire those actors who actually have martial arts training. The fights by actors who were just taught on the set always look like crapola.

Let's Face it! You are not gonna use an actor who has never done a physical role in a movie to be in MK! because like my friend above said, it's gonna be CRAPOLA!!! the Beverly hills thing is just an emphazising comment for the argument! boludo

LMAO. Very true, Zentile. I hate when people stereotype an actress, especially one as talented as Stacy Dash. Look at Kristanna Loken; She played Taja in Mk Conquest and her acting ability went so far as to play the Terminatrix; That really speaks volumes in terms of talent, and it should be no different for Stacy Dash.
Zentile Wrote: Holy shit! You're right, d00d! Cuz ya know, if she played a spoiled rich beverly hills girl in ONE fucking tv show, I bet the writers and the director will make it so she's a beverly hills girl in the movie aswell! HOLY SHIT |

Ohhhhh... the poor little millionere actress feels trapped in her role...

casting stacy dash is not a bad idea, she has the look and the acting skill. all she needs is the martial arts training. didn't alicia silverstone take martial arts lessons who was the co-star with her in clueless?
me myself being an actor, there are key things for nabbing a role down perfectly.
first thing you must do is research every possible aspect ranging from time era, culture and language that revolves around your character and the movie in general.
second thing you must do is to develop your character into your own, for instance always think in a situation what would my character do if i were stuck here or there. and practice on that.
another thing you could do is create your own history for that character, like for your martial arts training you could create a whole storyline for that part, in stacy dash's case she learned her skills as the character jade who was trained as a royal guard for the kingdom of edenia.
i think stacy dash will do fine if she follows guidelines and understands her character.
