The new "Hero" rummor

i found a rummor on a website claiming to have a source on midway. they said that sub-zero was to be the next hero in the movie and possobly in the game.

Sub-Zero just wouldent fit right for a hero...Im sure thats just a flase rummor. I mean, there are some like Kung Lao that could do better. Sub is a great character, dont get me wrong, but having him as the main, wouldent be good.

Sub-Zero as the new hero? I doubt that. That's gotta be a false rumour someone made up. Sub-Zero already had a main role in MK Mythologies. Kung Lao should be the new hero.

Bump hes not really that important besides he already had his time in a video game and it wasnt so great. Well if you fans of subby over there then cross your fingers it about him but i dont see how it would be about him?confused

a) that was in the games, and it was the first Subzero.

b) when have movies made ablout anything (other than LoTR) been loyal to what it's based off of?

Ok, just incase someone hasn't figured it out yet, Midway has NOTHING on the MK3 movie. The Threshold is the company in charge of making it. So a ''source'' on Midway means nothing, and this is by far one of the least successful 'bullshit rumour making threads' I have ever seen.

Just like midway having nothing to do with the movies. Is it true New Line Cinema no longer has anything to do with the MK movies anymore?
