For the video games hero I have three guesses..

3. Sub-Zero
2. Kenshi
1. Kung Lao

Mk:Da's story was set up preety nicely if you think about it, there could be more then one hero. Say Scorpion takes revenge on Quan Chi...or even Moloch or Drahmin. Or if the deadly alliance fight each other, I look for Kung Lao to be the one who kill's Shang Tsung though.

As for the movie we all know Liu Kang is gonna die, or at least not be that important of a character (someome important die's), I think it's going to be Stryker, cause the way the new MK movie's go are further downhill.

1. We don't care about your opinion on the videogame characters here, okee doke? This section is about the movies and simmilar media.
2. None of us know if Liu is going to die or not, or if he's not going to be that much of an important character(even though that's what Kung_Lao said).
3. MK was great. MKA sucked. MKC was awsome. Why do you think Stryker will be the hero of MK3? You're making no sense at all.

Had you paid attention to the last line I was saying stryker will probably be the hero because every mk movie they make is even worse then the one before, so I expect 3 to follow suit. And I only gave my opinion on the video game's hero cause other people were to.

Considering MKC is a product of the same company that made both MK movies, and that it came out after MKA, and that it rocked, I'd say that's improvement concerning the movies/television. So MK3 will probably be good.

Well when you're right you're right, MKC was was great...but after the storyline of MKA, I don't expect mk3 to have that great of a storyline, I think they ought to pretend mka never happend and do what they should have done in the first place...make a porn movie with kitana and sonya, immortal girl on amry girl action. Im positive about this movie (if its actually going to happen). Besides, they have plenty of story ideas with MKDA and Mk4.

I say they should base it in MKDA, it has an exelent, well developed and creative story, so, Im not really worried about the story, MKA story was actually WELL DONE, the only problem was the fact they didnt use it well.

you know....havin sub be the new hero...or even scorp would be cool. But if you ask me i would give anything to see reptile kick some bad guy ass!!

SCORPION RULES

I went to A Web site (i think i just typed www.mortal kombat.com) and it had a pic of shaung saung, Quan chi, Reiko, n kung lao. So i think it will be like Star Wars so at first they go in order, Than they go way back to where it all began. I'm pretty sure that's how it is and if it is, the bad guys should win since Goro kicked kung lao's ass in the very very very beginning. Also, i don't wanna see goro a pussy if he gets hit in the dong. I mean sure it hurts like hell, and he's probobly got four balls, but c'mon, naw mean people?

My take on this new hero business is that we need someone that can defeat the Dragon King. My hypothesis is that the DK will kill whoever has control over the DK's army and take it back for himself. Since we don't know yet, i tcould be anybody from Earthrealm. But one thing I know for sure is that Sektor is back.
