i thought it was a really boring issue the big fight isn't what I expected didn't really like the way it was laid out either like an old school 2d platform game. Saw that Cyrax turn coming from a mile away at the end so i guess now the only question is will Cyrax survive the fight or will he die?

I think he will sacrifice himself to protect sub zero then sub will kill Sektor and that will end it. Or he could surviv and possibly come out as dlc with KP2........

It was interesting. Sad there's only one issue left. Nice to see the two cyborgs again though, that's for sure.

So. MKMSZ by way of Kung Fury. Interesting.

Do gotta wonder why there were zero sentries hiding in the woods outside, especially since even the grunts have cloaking technology.

Nice concept for this comic.

Sektor might have turned the Lin Kuei into mindless bots but he forgot one important part. The only other robot who doubted the whole thing.

Please don't kill Cyrax. :(

11 issues about Havik and it ends with an unrelated Sub-Zero story? Weird...

*Throws up Sub Zero themed pom poms* Yay! Subby freed Cyrax and disengaged all of the slaving protocols! (Well, with Bo and Jin's help in the last chapter.)

Not crazy about the dialogue (haven't been in a while with this series), but I loved the way the action was laid out, and I love the build up to Cyrax getting his humanity restored.

That whole action layout reminded my a lot of this scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgiasL_i2Og

Excellent story. Don't kill Cyrax, but find a way to:
1) bring back Sektor
2) make sense of Cyrax's absence in mkx story

Loved the MKM:SZ references with the action, very nice touch. I'm glad to see Cyrax back as well, I'm expecting him to survive.
I could see Cyrax making through the comics and being (one of the next) DLC...
It's almost a crime that we have this awesome graphic-wise game and don't have a robot type character to see/play with.

They should do a Fan service Character

Cyborg- With a Cyrax, Sektor & Smoke Variation

I seriously have no idea why this is suggested so much.. they didn't make the variation system just to have multiple characters for one slot.. I'd much rather have just sektor and or cyrax with 3 full variants and leave smoke for the next game..
I used to like this idea but now just seems like it'd be a lazy thing for them to do. One cyborg with full variation is okay to me.

More importantly, the variation system doesn't work for 3 completely different moveset. They all have completely different special moves with combos based around completely different normal moves. It would be more hassle than necessary.

It would be like combining Scorpion, Reptile and Sub-Zero as DLC if they removed them from Xi.

I think Cyrax will sacrifice himself to save sub zero hence seeing the end of cyborgs in MK once and for all. I hope anyway! the cyborgs were only ever a lame attempt to replace the ninjas which they quickly realised would never work hence the reason why we got UMK3 and MKT so soon after MK3 And barely saw the cyborgs again after that!

The cyborgs have been in every game after MK3 aside from MKvsDC and MKX.

Cyrax and Sektor in MKGold
Cyrax in Deadly Alliance
Smoke in Deception
Armageddon doesn't count
And MK9

I wouldn't say we hardly saw them after MK3.

I didn't say you never saw them again I said barely and I still stand by that statement if you look at main games and not upgrades/ports like gold and tournament edition they barely make an appearance see the list below;

MK4 - No cyborgs
MK DA - Cyrax
MK D - Smoke (partnered with Noob not stand alone)
MK A - All characters (can't count)
MK vs DC - No cyborgs
MK - all trilogy characters (can't count)
MKX - No cyborgs

So if you take out Armageddon (as all characters are included) and MK9 (as all trilogy characters are included) you only have Cyrax as a stand Alone character in one other game and smoke as part of a partnership in one game.

So I would still say that they barely appear after MK3

No.

Enough fan service, thanks. It's done enough damage with Skarlet and Tremor 2.0.

They still appear and they're still part of the story. Cyrax is an agent of the Special Forces doing recon in Outworld. Smoke is brought back from confinement to be used by Noob as a basis for an army of nano-machines enhanced wraiths. Sektor creates his own god damn army of robots, complete with flying battle ship.

Lol at people that continue to say Armageddon doesn't count.

Cyrax's turn was obvious. Nice chapter tho.
In the final chapter we'll have another surprise character showing up...

I do not like this "fan service" idea floating around for Cyrax. He's a damn good character and he deserves to have a 3 variation system.

Definitely. I enjoyed playing as him in MKT and 9. He was one of my mains. I didn't really pay much attention to the meta game, tournament scene and overall fighting game technics

We need an updated version of his MKDA fatality. grin

Sorry, but I'm pretty sure that's just talking about Cyrax.

You think? To me it sounds so dumb to say a surprising character will show up and in the end is just one that already appeared in the last issue... I hope you're wrong sad

He didn't actually become Sub-Zero's ally until the very end, though. This is advertising that there's going to be more of them working together this chapter.
