It's the last issue. It's a little late to introduce a returning character. Either Raiden will show up (he owes him, said Bo' Rai Cho) or they just mean Cyrax.

At this point we should be concerned wether Cyrax survives or not. We're not getting a crazy twist.

I am loving this issue for obvious reasons. Can't wait to have the physical copy for myself.

I really want to see the Sub vs Sektor fight go down.

Seriously, with what NRS has given the okay to or...orders to do or however the fuck this comic has worked. Would it really surprise anyone if they just completely squander/flush the cyborgs. Seems like two more characters that would require too much effort from NRS these days. So yeah I can see them going "Yeah please get rid of those guys for us"

Maybe that just means Frost. We know she eventually joins the Lin Quei. She shows up in story mode

From a writing perspective, this scene was tacked on and added nothing to the overall narrative. It was a sloppy inclusion. However, as an MK fan, I enjoyed it more than anything else Kittleson has done for many, many issues.

Does it really matter if Cyrax dies? I mean.......he is a robot. Sub-Zero, we know for a fact, kept Sektor's pieces. Who's to say he couldn't have collected up Cyrax's parts, too? *shrugs* lol
