Threshold Entertainment

Well......Threshold Did well With Mortal Kombat Franchise:

1. 2 Movies 2. 2 TV Shows 3. a Live Tour 4. an Animated Movie

5. an Online Show 6.Many Many Other Merchandise

Lawrence Kasanoff did a good Job with a limited Budget around 20 million
dollar in Mortal Kombat The First Movie.

Which was a Success at Box Office(122 million dollar sells)

and a Soundtrack album that Became one of The Best Selling Techno Albums at the Time of It's Release

Isn't that enough to say that Threshold Paid his dept to Mortal Kombat?

Warner Bros

Wow It is a very huge Company that owns the Rights of many famous

Franchises Like Batman, Harry Potter, Watchmen and more....

They have pleased Batman fans with their The Dark Knight

They've had a good enough Budget and a great Scriptwriting and a Well Direction.....

If They would own the Rights of Mortal Kombat.......It would be possible to make Mortal Kombat an Masterpiece like The Dark Knight and not only a Blockbuster

Now tell Me Which one Do you Prefer to own the Rights? Threshold or Warner Bros?

I don't even understand what the question is. Threshold entertainment did well (although as far as I know they had nothing to do with the live tour, though I could be wrong), over TEN years ago. They haven't done a thing since MKC, so why would anyone say threshold at this point in time?

What are you asking, exactly?

Your question is clear, but the answer is just as clear; Warner Bros. will do a better job.
Threshold did a lot with the franchise back in the day, but they basically sat on it for a solid 10 years and did nothing new - no films, no shows, no comics, nothing, despite the fact that new games were coming out. Heck, even the second movie they did was an utter flop, even for video game to movie standard. Warner Bros. will do so much better with MK.

The answer is so brutally obvious that actually asking the question didn't make sense to me, sorry.

It was such an awesome show, it played Sunday mornings on Fox when everyone's watching television and only lasted one season or something because everyone thought it was great and had a strong enough following to make it last for years.
Yup.[/sarcasm]
Threshold failed with the franchise, plain and simple.

Threshold wasn't killed by MKA, but it did help kill MK. They haven't used it to make more money anyway since Conquest. It only stays afloat now thanks to it owning a license to Mr. Clean and M&M's. That's not a super hero, that's a spokesman for soap, and the other's chocolate candy. At least Warner Bros. focuses on entertainment with recognizable characters instead of trying to fill peoples' grocery carts with cleaning articles, twinkies, and chocolates.

Nobody ever said that it did. I understood what you said, I was asking what your point was as in, ''what's your point when you say that Threshold wasn't killed by MKA?''. I still don't get what you're trying to say.

Except that nothing has been done with Aphrodite IX since 2003, and the news about the film's not changed since it was first announced. If Kasanoff is at the helm of the project, it sounds like it'll be as bad, if not worse, than MKA.

Except they still don't have an actress to play her yet, nor a story, director... They have nothing on the film expect for the fact that it's planned to be in 3-D, and given how late in 2010 it is, there's no way they will make a movie like this in time for summer 2011.
