Does anyone have a screenshot or anything that came from this web site right when it opened (mortalkombat.com/kombatbegins) ? Was everything they used put into TUG2MK or anything else about the behind the scenes of MK?

Archive.org won't let me continue because they don't have the login script the site used back i that day.

About Me

For the most in-depth, in-detail, Mortal Kombat lore analysis vids, there's only one source:

I wish I had this stuff, but I don't anymore. The website http://www.mortalkombat.com/kombatbegins would actually redirect you to another site (I think it was http://www.directnet.net/kombatbegins or something) but nobody that I know of has an archive of it anywhere. The site was a lot of fun, though.

I only found the M trailer they posted from Rat's file directory but nothing else. I'm assuming the "behind the scenes" stuff can be found throughout the Behind the Scenes book and whatnot.

If anyone wants it I found a book listing two color screenshots in the very old Microsoft Video Viewer program from the 1001 Really Cool Web sites book (it came with the CD which gave me the 2 screenshots but I could only save a PDF).

All efforts to find much else than I have at my site are failing. Hopefully someone out there has more from this site or knows someone who managed to keep a copy.

Also still looking for the older realplayer files from the TBS premiere.
