Even though I only quoted part of it, I'll address the whole thing anyway lol

1.You dont get what he's saying......He's saying that this isn't the look of the promotional logo for the show but it's how it's going to look in the tournament "in-universe

2. Well, only two characters really have any "urbanizing" of them so far in this series and that's Raiden and Kang from the looks of it. So I wouldnt say it's in the "whole series".

3. Regardless of a director's previous credentials, Common sense tells them not to turn everything they work on into something derivative of those works. That's like assuming Burton was going to make Batman into a Pee Wee Herman comedy because he directed Pee Wee's Big Adventure prior to that.

No problems with Liu. I'm sure he won't be wearing that thing constantly. Aside from which, I remember fondly his MK4 'street' costume. I like to think he's got a life outside the Shaolin temples.

That dragon looks silly. Honestly, what the hell. It's like a kid tried to draw a scary monster.

I'm liking the hat.

What are you talking about? Liu Kang didn't have a street costume in MK4, you might be mistaking him for Kai, who wore jeans and a leather jacket.

This one here. I suppose I shouldn't have said 'street' as that conveys an 'urban' feel, but this is far more casual than he normally appears.

Well he never specifically revealed whom he was playing but Kenshi is the most obvious answer imo.

In some of those pictures, it seems he's wearing a wig.

Otherwise, he did post a picture of himself after filming of Legacy, with short hair.

So in that regard, It's no different than when Ian Anthony Dale played Hanzo with that a wig.

That's the role he was rumored to play many years ago before WB took MK in. No real reason to believe he'll play Kenshi in Legacy, though.

It's a Kung Fu gi, opened up with no shirt underneath. It looks a lot less "street" than his standard MK4 costume to me, but whatever.
