Like FutureBoy said in his reporting of this, alot of this info is based on what the cast members have said in recent interviews. Basically they also match previously released lore games, except for the Scorpion one since Sub-Zero originally was given his own game and Scorpion appeared as a villain.

I'd love to see spin-offs if they produced them simultaneously with the sequel. In some ways they could also use their Animation branch to make these as well.

In many ways, Scorpion's Revenge is a lot like an unofficial non-linear sequel to Mortal Kombat (2021).

If this story came from a site that didn't have a track record of making shit up/grasping at straws and posting it as 'leaks' or 'reports' I'd have more faith in the story. It'd be great to see, but... yeah.
