MK 1, but what I liked more about mkA is that there were more characters...such as shao kahn and mileena, sheeva etc...

MK1 was the better movie. MKA was uber-garbage, but MK Conquest(tv show), IMO, was better than both movies.

MK 1 was way better. MK:A just tried too hard, and ruined every character that was in it. They made Raiden look like such a pussy! And Rain only lasted like 5 seconds,and don't even get me started on Baraka.

The first movie. MKA was an overall disappointment, IMO.

MKA is near the top of my list of films that should never have been made, so that should answer your question.

In the first movie they revolved only around Liu Kang it seemed like! Liu Kang is not the greatest fighter. I don't really like both movies because the think Liu Kang is so great. (Which he's not.) But I chose MKA. The thing that me mad is they make Liu Kang the hero in every MK movie. In MK2(game) Kitana won and in MK3(game) Sindel won. I'm not so sure about MK1, and all the other games but i'm guessing Liu Kang wasn't the hero.

I like MKA better. Also Liu Kang won every MK he was in so far. Neither Kitana or Sindel ever won a MK in their life.
