Do you all know it's very likely Ed Boon and the rest of the Midway staff were very unhappy with MKA? It's b/c as I was watching MK History on my MKDA game, while they were showing glimpses from the first movie the narrarator mentions that the creators and midway were very happy with it. But while they were showing glimpses from MKA, the narrarator does not mention what they thought of it. If they hated MKA, I guess were not suppost to know than.

It's the same. Diferent cultures, diferent people... as long as two people can love each other, they should be allowed to be together.

I agree, I dont see why Kitana cant fall in love with Liu. Isnt LOVE the only thing that counts? Everything else dosent matter.

Oh, someone said about the Rain/Baraka death part. Very true, I just hated that, WHY the hell couldnt they just make Baraka fall on the fire???! It looks like they didnt have enough cash to do it. Thats one of the worst things of the movie. ALso, Baraka looked so fake.

Guys if you liked Liu and Kitana being together, fine! I did not like seeing them together and I just said why. Besides I'm not that upset about them anymore b/c if Liu does die in MK3 the movie, he and Kitana won't be together anymore (smiles).

They had good characters, they just didnt know what to do with them, that alone destroyed the story. Everything else didnt really help either.

NO, bad idea, in some ways I doubt that will happen. Just b/c Kitana had a relationship with Liu does NOT mean she has to get into one with Kung Lao too! I think Kung Lao wouldn't do that anyway b/c he wouldn't wanna anger Liu Kang's soul.

i don't remember baraka or smoke in the movie but i saw it last about 6 months ago. i liked the movie, i mean, come on, it's mortal kombat!

don't worry, I was sarcastic at some stuff I saw here. If it happened, it'd probably make most fans want to tear off their hair. When they realized it hurts, they would tear apart the chairs instead, and with horror, watch what happens next in the movie.

Other things I meant to say about this movie were...

Scorpion's return was not explained.

What happened to Scorpion and Sub-Zero after their fight was not shown or explained.

How Johnny Cage gained weight and got a new pair of sunglasses in the biginning was not explained.

How Sonya changed outfits and lost eight inches of her hair in the biginning was not explaing.

How Shao Kahn went from looking like a monsterous demon to a human was not explained.

How Liu Kang's dirty white shirt got clean in the beginning was not explained.

How Nightwolf and Jade knew about Kitana being captured was not explained.

Sindel's resurrection was not explained.

Many of the fight scenes looked more like carefully choreographed dance routines.

During most of the fights, I could tell the actors were not really hitting each other.

A lot of the techno and rock music sounded so much like dance music.

There was something else in this movie that was a waist! Tyrone Wiggins (Rain) and Marjean Holden (Sheeva) both have a background in fighting and they never got to fight! While the actors who didn't have a background in fighting got to fight! As I said before, WHAT A WAIST!!!!!!!

There were some characters who should not have been played by white people.

I have never seen a sequel where they did such horrible recasting. Especially with Jax and Sonya, watching different actors play them was like watching different characters b/c they looked and acted nothing like the original actors! The new Rayden was also a joke.

The horrible dialogue and Jax talking like some street thug from the hood indicated the screen writters didn't know what they were writting.

What happened to fighters such as Noob Saibot and the third raptor was not shown. How they were defeated is what I mean.

Uh...Um...............Shit.

I liked Shao Kahn's look in the beginning, He should have kept his mask on during the entire film.

Cyrax and Smoke looked very good and they had decent fight scenes.

The fight between Scorpion and Sub-Zero was pure crap, In the first movie they were shown as allies and now they are enemies, without an explanation why. And offcourse the "suckers" line. The costumes were also terrible, someone here mentioned that they looked something out of a bad Power ranger episode, i agree.

Jax was not so bad, only i was not happy when Motaro ripped of his arms because if they were implants (like in the game) then jax would have no real arms left anymore. (motaro looked awesome).

Shinnok and Rayden were a joke, nothing cool about them. At least make them look like the game caracters if you want to f*ck up their caracters.

Nightwolf looked pretty good only "pretty cool, huh, its my animalty" line was also pure crap, maybe he could be a new power rangers enemy.

Baraka would have been better if they just had 1 baraka and not several.

The fact that i hate most about the entire movie is that Rayden and Shao Kahn were brothers...I mean..C'mon!!

well, I guess Jax's arms were stranght enchanters or something. And his hands needed to be covered with metal, since skin couldn't take the pressure this strenght could cause on it.

And, I think at some point, you could see his fingers reach out from the metal cover. Not sure if it was in the movie, but I saw that somewhere.

Shoa Kahn and Rayden brothers, and Shinnok their father, wtf?THat was a really screwed up storyline.ANd were Cyrax and Mileena related to them too
