On the movie "13 Ghosts" they had someone get cut in half much like Kung Lao's vertical hat slice. So I suppose they can get away with pretty much a lot. Or in "Final Destination" or "Final Destination 2" with all the different death senarios...all gruesome.

first of all they should do them well not like the animalities. bout specials sub and scorpion's ones. and for fatalities some decapitation.
the toasty of scorpion. (is skull head looked awesome in the first mk movie). and Kabals scare.
this one should be serious and something repentine with a loud sound that scares the audience also,in other words it should make the people scream. if this is made well it can be one of the betters.

but if they make crappy fatalities cyrax is going to cry

I'd like to see Kitana use her fans more, Mileena take her mask off, and Sub-Zero do his stage fatality where he freezes his oppenent and knocks them in the acid pool...
