i think it should have more of a dark asian type music since mk is dark and takes place in asia.

Since when does MK take place in Asia? I'd like an updated version of the first movie's soundtrack, plus a couple of good songs from the games. To tell you the truth, I'd rather pay $7.50 to listen to the movie's ST once, than the movie.

In MK1 the contestants enter the ship of Shang tsung from Hong Kong (not movie based). The Lost Sea is near China, and clearly has an oriental feeling.

MK2 takes place in Outworld, lots of chionese architecture.
MK3 takes place in a post apocalyptic America mostly and in Outworld I suppose.

Ogh, of course, MK has nothing to do with Asia. Jesus Christ.
