Major film distributors usually distribute one trailer before a film and on the same reel as the film. What trailer or trailers appeared with Mortal Kombat and what other films did Mortal Kombat appear as trailers for other films?

I can honestly say, I don't remember what trailers were attached to MK. And as for the MK trailer in front of other prints. It could be a number of films.

I use to work at AMC, and I can tell you that. Sometimes there is a list of what the company would like you to have in front of their movies, but no one can stop you from putting whatever on there. With that being said. The trailer for MK could have been in front of any movie, except for kids movies. The only trailer I think I remember seeing in front of MK was, Dumb and Dumber(New Line.)

Oh and sometimes the trailer that was actually attached to the print, AMC likes to cut it off, because they want their intro to be there right before the movie starts. This of course was in the 90s and early 2000's, so its different now with the movies coming on hard drives.
