personally i dont care, as long as the movie *eventually* gets made im fine with it. but if some shitty company gets the rights and makes it so crappy it goes straight to dvd ill have to kill myself..or sumone else.

I dont know. In case you people didnt notice. The brother of the director that directed the horrible MKA movie will be directing MK3 the movie. Lets hope the apple doesnt fall far from the tree in this case -_-

MATT Leonetti?? Oh well, he did a good job as cinematographer in 2 Fast 2 Furious, I guess he could do good in MK3. Then again, John Leonetti was cinematographer for MK and was director of MKA....

I hope 20th Century Fox gets the rights. They've made so many good movies(Star Wars, I think.), I have total faith in them. If Threshold wanted to make Mortal Kombat really scary and dark, they should check and see if Artisan Entertainment(Scream, The Blair Witch Project) wants it. But I don't see why they took the rights from New Line RIGHT AFTER New Line made the BIGGEST film trilogy(The Lord of the Rings) ever!!! It just shows that New Line is back in sync.

I know...New Line has made alot of money cuz of LOTR (and soon to make money off of Blade 3 another New Line Trilogy)....I agree that Artisan could make it good....or Fox....didnt Dimension make Scream? oh well....I'd Warner Bros at this point.....

New line makes excellent movies.....LOTR, nightmare on elm street, blade, and so so many others. I think they should have stuck with New line

really quick,starwars was made from george lucas's company and not 20th century fox.If you do background on it,you would know that the first 3 starwars movies were funded from GL himself.20th century fox just picked it up to send it out to theatres.But to be honest with you,I hope newline gets it back again somehow or maybe Warner bros and they could get the guys from the matrix to help(maybe)or fox.
