I heard that as a bonus on the DVD release of the movie Sonya was going to fight Jade but the idea was scrapped due to not enough time

But who was going to be Jade? or was it the same Woman as in MKA??

You're thinking of D'Arque Bishop's thread on the MK movie novelization. A fight between Sonya and Jade was scripted, but I've never seen any evidence that they went so far as to do casting calls on it.
