Whenever Raiden and Shao Kahn faced off. For some stupid reason, Raiden got thrown the exactly the same way both times.

Yeah just about all the fights in MKA were sucky. But I think the one I hated the most was the girl mud wrestling match between Mileena and Sonya.

So much of it! But i think Subs and Scorps was the worst becasue it was no way near what it should have been, two of the best martial artisits in MK were totally screwed up and looked like a joke, by far worst besides all of the movie

Probably Lu Kang and Sheeva's fight (if you want to call it one heh). If not, probably Sonya and Mileena's fight.

Lu Kang was rescusing Kitana from the cage and Sheeva appears and says "Date times over" then Lu Kang lowers the cage and squishes her to death. It was pretty stupid.

Oh yeah, now I remember - that was stupid. But hell, so was most of the movie. It's 7 years since it came out and I still don't understand the animality part of the last fight scene...

Too be honest, I thought the redeeming quality of MKA was the fights. Most of them were quite good for such a terrible movie.

I think the worst fight was Sindel vs Kitana or Rayden vs the Reptiles.....err...excuse me, Raptors

Sonya vs. Ermac. The fake that Sonya pulled on Ermac was decent, but the rest of the fight was kinda dull.

How about Kabal and Stryker? Well maybe not Stryker, but I'd definately liked to have seen Kabal. As I said in another thread, if they had to have killed them off they could have done it like this:

Start with Kabal and Stryker wandering aimlessly through their respective cities (the scene has an eerie vibe, it's misty and everyone is missing), not knowing what the hell is going on (like where did everyone go??) You start to hear a soft galloping in the background, it gets louder and louder until the extermination squads reach 'em and kill both.

-Well that's how I would have started the movie, or if they wanted to start where MK1 left off, then have that scene (kabal/stryker death) after Raiden vs Shao Kahn.

Jade vs. Lui Kang.

Lui basically beat the hell out of Shang Tsung but can barely pull off beating Jade? Lui Kang should've had no trouble.

Oh yeah, also Rayden vs. the Raptors. With their kicks that kept on missing, it looked like they were dancing!!! That was one of the stupidest, if not THE stupidest thing I've ever seen.

Yeah, that wasn't a good scene - it could have been much better. Also why 3 Raptors? I guess the original Reptile was dead from the first movie, but why not use Chameleon or Khameleon? That could have been a cool scene, watching Raiden fight Khameleon/Chameleon where they change between all the ninjas, and a transparent 'predator' style ninja/reptilian creature.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but on this certain subject I must say I'm going to ATTEMPT to stay neutral on the topic.

Best Fight: Sonya and Jax vs. Cyrax
WHY?: This wasn't an awesome fight, but it had to have been the best in the movie because of the way it started in a bit of drama knowing that Kahn's extermination squad was coming. Also added to that strength factor is that the audience had always seen jax on the video games but never on the big screen and this fight gave him his star-studded debut.

Worst Fight: Liu Kang vs. Shao Kahn (Final Battle)
WHY?: I was going to give this a tie between the mudwrestling match between Sonya vs. Mileena, but hey...I'm a guy...i KINDA enjoyed it. But anyways, you would expect so much more depth to the fight than what was in it. In the original mortal kombat, the Sheng Tsung vs. Liu Kang fight was a classic. It had meaning to it in the way Liu had to follow Kitana's little instructions to defeat Sheng. No cheap animalities, no revamping the music in the middle of the fight sequence like in MK:A. The only decent thing that made the fight interesting is that the elder god's interrupted and actually brought some meaning to the fight.

Liu Kang vs Shao Kahn was the WORST fight! It was SOOOOO boring and it had nothin cool in it.....The fight between Sub Zero and Scorpion was pathetic, i was being distracted by the HORRIBLE looking backround, where were they fighting! Those fights were HORRIBLE!

Mileena vs Sonya i thought was the only good fight in the whole movie, Dana Hee is tight, but i agree, they made these extremely talented martial artist look ridiculous

cyrax and jax was just horible

best fight scene was jax and sonya vs cyrax.they could of had someone else fight cyrax because it just looked stupid because jax didnt know how to fight anyone.


another stupid thing about the movie was they had so many characters die without even fighting, rain, sheeva ect.


worst fight scene was lu kang vs shao kahn.I MEAN COME ON THE MUSIC CAME ON IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIGHT, that was just a let down.and then the animality was just stupid.they couldnt of timed using that any worse.
