Yes it WAS that bad Space ace. I do recall that movie was relased in '97, when movies before it EG: Jurassic Park ('93) had special effects that made MKA's look like someone tried to create them from their home computer. As for Zentile, we all know you secretly love this movie so give it a rest, these are all people's opinions that obviously clash with yours for good reason.

The BEST thing about the movie was the LOGO, that pretty much sums it up right there

For any of you who own the MKA dvd, have a look at the movie TRAILER, it actually looks pritty awesome, you'll understand how we got sucked into it when you see all the best bits in the movie put into a 30second clip.

the wors thing about the movie had to be the subzero VS scorpion fight i mean WTF! ON AN ICE BRIDGE!? i mean it was insulting to have the 2 best mk characters be in such a shitty pointless fight and one thing pointed out to me by my 3 year old sister "isnt scoupion dead" she has a point didnt johnny chop him up the movie left so many loose ends and it sucked in general!

Scorpion didnt really die in the First Movie he wont Rest In Peace Until he avenge the Murderer of his Family and Clan......in other words until he kills Quan Chi....

Johnny was suppost to Die he dies in MK3 the game, the worst thing I saw was the fact that smoke did not have a harpoon!

the worst thing about it was that they tryed to cram too many characters into one movie. mk1 had Liu Kang, Johnny cage, Sonya, Raiden, Scorpion, Sub zero, kitana, goro, reptile, and Shang Tsung
Annihilation had liu kang, sonya, kitana, jax, sub zero, scorpion, raiden, reptile(s), sheeva, mileena, smoke, cyrax, shao kahn, motaro, noob saibot (sort of), ermac, sindel, rain, and a crappily done version of shinnok.
its like they were thinking, " wouldnt it be cool if we put a whole bunch of characters in this movie?"
the answer, no, it wasnt cool. it was to cluttered to have a good story, and didnt really explain why some of the 'filler' characers (sheeva, ermac, rain, etc), were actually there in the first place.

I think the worst thing about it was that it was following a decent movie.
MK1 was good it had better fight seans and the charicters were more

I don't know what movie youre watching but MKA sucked.I wonder why no one has noticed when Liu Kang knocks Baraka into the fire you can clearly see it's rain falling into the fire.No thats just plain lazy to use the same clip to show two differnt characters falling to their deaths.

1) The fact I even watched it
2) The fact that it was made
3) The fact my IQ was lowered after the movie was finished
4) Horrible dialogue and script, horrible character interpritations, cheesey horrible special effects, horrible acting, horrible direction, horrible everything
5) The Animalities and their total irrelivance (even in the games), also Nightwolfs vomit-enducing line after he appears.
6) None of it makes any sense whatsoever
7) The fact its the worst movie ever
8) Again the fact I even watched it!!!!!!! What a waste of ninety minutes, it was trash, P.W. Anderson should be punished immensely...

What the fuck? No opinion is colliding with mine, here. I hate MKA with a passion. It's one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I've bitched, ranted and blasted the movie all I could, years ago. the movie is from 1998, for Christ's sake. You people just blow it to monumental proportions, when it's obviously not that bad, and it's been 6 god damn years. Every month there's a new ''worst thing about MKA'' thread in this board. You people just have nothing better to do, and since it's already been done so many times, and so many rants have been written on it, you just repeat yourselves because it's easy to do and makes you feel like your critic and people care about your opinions.

The effects were great (for their time) I hafta admit that (next to the STAR WARS movies) MKA is my favorite and BTW What was that about the Mileena fight??? I had never even considered it to be mud wrestling until it was brought up here- The fight was fast,w/ great music... and,coincidently there was mud involved...So What...

Ok, the fights, acting and awesome storyline were the best thing about this movie the made it so damn awesome. . . *Vomits* This movie was a hot turd, rotting in the sun.
The countless mistakes and plotholes in the movie, amaze my process of thought, it overwhelms my mind how awesomely horrible this movie was. Shoa Kahn was a puny looking piece of trash that didn't where his helmet enough to cover his ugly face. Nightwolf sounding like a druggie/stoner/hippie/etc was just outstanding, and the complete irelevance of his appearence was also great. For having a slight build up with Sheeva through the movie, only to have her squashed I found most satisfactory on showing how worse the movie was altogether. The sudden appearances of characters and disappearances I also found sickingly appealing. And the cramming of all the character, with the also cramming of the MK games stories was horrible, and the pointless inclusion of Shinnok added even more sucking of ass into the movie. And later we reveal Shoa Kahn to be Raidens brother, and whats this, the fathers Shinnok, who's the mother, a mountain goat.
The graphics and stunts were damn bad. They had to of been using computers from the 50's. A 3 year old child can crap better graphics.
Ya, the movie was total crap, but, all the reasons more for us to love to hate it.
