Was that the Neathership arena I spotted in the Kollector reveal trailer?

I LOVED that arena in MKDA and I'm glad they resurrected it.

The arenas are truly great in this game but I don't think we'll really be able to appreciate their stunning beauty until we actually have the game before our very eyes.

You know... I own a mid-class beamer and a 99" screen. When I watch movies I can see clearly if a picture is great or not. If I play a game.. I can see if the grafic is good or not. And when I played the beta all I can say is... the grafic is stunning! The stages were full of details. I only saw 3 at the beta... can't wait to see all of them in full glory.

See, this is exactly what I play Mortal Kombat for. The characters, the atmosphere, the beauty, the horror- Just all the little things that make MK, MK.

It certainly isn't just to whoop ass- because I suck, really hard lol My 14 year old nephew has me topped. ;P

So we got:

• Kytinn Hive (D'Vorah arena)
• Sea of Blood? (where Scorpion and Hanzo are fighting each other)
• Kronika's Keep (with hourglass, last stage probably)

+1 This has always been my main draw to MK. I play games for fun and "escape" first and foremost. And a game that can bring me a world that takes me out of this world, I'm always down with that.

Shame that we haven't seen any sign of the Pit, and that they haven't shown us any Stage-Fatality's. But maybe they come with the first pack just like MKX.

But at the other hand there where no stagefatality's in the achievementslist.

There has to be stage fatalities.

I refuse to believe an arena like "Shaolin Dungeon Trap" or whatever it's called doesn't have one. Not when spikes are constantly protruding from the floor or there's spinning blades right at the edge of the stage.

In MK, that shit isn't just there for decoration.

Well, outside of just the characters and a few backgrounds (the latter at our request), they haven't actually shown anything else about the game. But they got hell for it with MKX, so I don't think they are not going to risk it. Stage fatality's are a staple of MK.

MKX didn't has stage fatality at first... so... I am not sure MK11 will.

At first, it was fixed with a day one patch.

That's not an issue. An issue would be not having them at all.

So... we'll be seeing The Pit (II) again? Or is it just old concept art mixed with new?
Not that I'm disliking the stage, I love that stage. But it was revamped in MK9, "remastered" in MKX... and what are they going to do now? Better camera angles when falling in the pit?

I'm pretty pleased with the stages so far, especially the Nethership and Kolloseum returning. Pretty stoked to see what the last three stages are gonna be.

At the new Gameinformer article there is a background showed we saw before at the story trailer. It is a real stage, if you ask me. The stage looks awesome and is definitely D'Vorah's one.

There is also Kronika's stage shown and the temple stage with Shinnoks head. Great art design!

Yep that's D'vorah's stage, it's the concept art and it will look awesome in the game.

I presume Kronika's stage will be the last stage in the traditional tower where you go up against her, would make sense...

I hope with a nasty stage fatality. Maybe a giant spider wrapping you in a web (like in the Lord of the Rings movie), then hanging you and start to "extract" victim from its resources.
Or something in that genre.

One of D'Vorah's specials is to wrap the opponent up like that and have them hanging in the air. Wonder if that will be used for one of her Brutalities.

That's a bit disappointing, but MKX did not get a pit stage, or stage fatalities, until MKXL.
