  • According to those who have an early copy, the game starts with 19 stages. Most game modes are unplayable until the 23rd, including story mode, so no way to unlock more stages.

    Kronika's Hourglass has 3 variations of the stage: standard, good ending, bad ending. You can see that the last two are locked on the stage select screen.

    My geuss is yes. I've also seen Goro's Lair been used in the Krypt. So it is probably easy for them to take chunks of backgrounds from in other modes and have a stage for it. And this one seems completely done and ready to go.
