Yea I knew about John Cena likeness on stryker but couldnt understand what it was about. Michael Jae white also seems to be the face of Jax in this game unless im seeing things. He plays jax and spawn which is funny. We seen some hints about spawn thrown our way although I rather have no guest characters and would take a non popular stryker over a guest any day especially if it's John Cena, would be dope.

I wouldn't put my hopes up because Smash Ultimate had an unrealistic 30 throw-away "DLC" slots revealed by data mining.

The 13 slots are 6 DLC + 7 gear/skins.

This has already been reported, and is listed in the Premium Edition contents.

Does someone have a link to tha DLC listing? I saw it in another thread but can't remember which one.

Now, on that listing, it had dates on them. The first one had the release date of the game (or very close to it). So practically day-one DLC. Shao Kahn makes perfect sense for that.

I'm sure the other 12 listing shared a date, which was towards the end of this year. I doubt that Kombat Pack 1 and 2 would be released at the same time, and released with 6-8 months of the games release. KP1, yes, but not KP2.

I can't remember the exact dates on the leak - if someone has the link we can double-check.

6 characters, 7 skins/gears = 13 DLC. There, mistery solved.

This might not actually be the date for it's release. They use year-12-31 also for when the exact date is not known yet but it is scheduled for that year.

Stryker would work perfectly, especially if he's played by John Cena. It screams potiental. I can imagine him with rushdown play with command throws like the F U slam to a 5 knuckle shuffle finish and his weapon choice as a 12 gauge Shotgun to send opponents flying. Itc could work.

Screw Stryker, DJEEZ how many special forces characters do we need

Taking a closer look at the DLC listings... it also has the game and the premium edition listed as 22nd April too. Along with DLC 1.

Stryker isn't Special forces. Hes been a vigilante and SWAT in different timelines. The current timeline is where Kabal was Stryker's bitch and now hes Kano's bitch in the rebooted.

Well Stryker aint Special Forces, though he probably would be once he regained his humanity. But I think there is already suffocating amount of tech reliant/Gun using characters in a game series that is about hand to hand combat. So yeah, Stryker, as much as I want him, should sit this out until they can finally use their thinking caps and come up with more original concepts for She-Jax, Sonya Cage, Sonya Blade (What happened to you girl?) and Erron Black.

Jax is exempt from this roast seeing how the majority of these characters jacked his and Strykers' shtick anyway.

13 can mean shao khan as DLC and two.kombat packs 6 plus 6 each. The reasoning for this is because shao kahn has gear and outfits too and is listed on 1 slot as April 22nd. 6 plus 6 and shao kahn = 13 to he exact but so does kombat pack 1 with gears and Characters also equals 13 so its really hard to tell. They wanted to update this game for a very long time they said though, unlike the previous installments. But to not get my hopes up, im going to assume those are for gear and skins.
