Ah well, we all like who like, right? Personally, I would rather have Fujin, Sareena, Kai, Reiko, Nitara, Mavado, Kira or a few other 3D era characters before Frost, but given that there are so few of them in this game to begin with, I’ll happily take Frost and hope they can find some cool, compelling stuff to do with her.

Some seem to think she’ll be a cyborg for whatever reason, which seems odd given that her male counterpart has already had that storyline. My guess is that she’s just a Kronika lackey, but I’m hoping to be surprised.

Any game featuring Noob without Sareena is a crime.

But instead of hating Frist, hate Jacqui.... She is so trashy....

Anyway, I'm so happy Frost made the cut. She's not my favorite 3D era female (crossing fingers for Li Mei in the Kombat Pack), but she's a welcome addition to the MK11 roster.

Mileena fans should really stop whining, seriously. She was in MK2, UMK3, MKGOLD, MK DECEPTION, MK 2011 and freaking MKX!!
People should not be complaining about their character if they were in the previous game! Get over it.

I mean in all honesty imagine claiming to be an MK fan but then being massively upset because your favorite is sitting out a game, I wish people would get over that bullshit idea and just be open minded

I’m okay with a bunch of “one-dimensional” character getting a second chance by that I mean, 3-D characters and MKX newcomers getting a second chance. And judging by her trophy she’s working for the Cyber Initiative meaning she could have a cyborg form.

Hey, to the vast majority posting in this thread, how about we just let people vent about their grievances with an MK game. This is an MK forum after all and lord knows you've all had to let some steam off about some decisions as well. Let's not start telling people to shut up. Hear them out, form a counter argument if you like.

Fighting games and their fandoms find their life in the roster, so why wouldn't fans of a certain character get a little riled up when that character doesn't make it. Be reasonable.

People complaining about their favourite not being in the game, I fully understand. I also would be dissapointed if Sub didnt make the cut. But there is still DLC so fingers crossed...

Frost wasnt a favourite of mine but I liked her in MK:DA and I think its a shame NRS(Midway at the time) did not give her much love(storywise) from that point on.. So they left her out for about 6 MK's if you dont count MK:A.

But now I am excited to see her back as a cyborg so now she can properly kill off Sub and claim the Lin Kuei for herself.

Or maybe she is the new Tekunin...I dont know, I'll just wait and see. Very curious to be honest!

I always prefered Frost over Sub-Zero, and never cared about any of the cyborgs until Cyber Sub-Zero. So Cyber-Frost is very intruiging to me. I can't wait to see what they've done with the character.

And since Sub-Zero tends to be the punching bag in the Kombat Kasts... that'll just make it even sweeter!

I am not prefering Frost over Sub, but I think its a good idea to let Sub sit one out and let Frost shine for a game.

Let Sub sit one out and give him a better purpose to be in the game instead of reviving the Lin Kuei all the time.

MKX-Sub was very good, but this time I think he is a bit lame, just like his ugly basic Fortnite-like-costume.

And I am a Sub-fan believe me..

Just pre-ordered the game for Switch. Standard Edition was the only option. I guess no Shao Kahn for me.

In any event, I've lowered my expectations regarding getting certain characters a while back, I'm actually good on Frost because she's a character from MK5 that hasn't been on a system since PS2. I like that novelty.

Frost is a welcomed return.

I would love for Rain to also return, but not at the expense of a 3D era character, or any character who hasn't had a lot of screentime.

The vast majority have simply stated their support for Frost and made no judgment on OP's opinion. A few did hear out the complaint and formed their counterarguments. Including:

• Nobody has "stolen" a spot from anyone. (You can just as easily say that a widespread favorite like Noob "stole" the spot, if you don't like Noob.)
• Jacqui is worse, so complain about that instead. (Not a sentiment I find particularly well-argued or compelling, but it was a counter nonetheless.)
• Making a huge fuss over who's in and out is annoying, especially if the one you want was around more recently than the one you don't. (While I would agree that Rain is underutilized, the petulance and entitlement of the original post was pretty annoying.)
• It's good for the one-dimensional three-dimensional characters to get a second chance.
• For my part, I don't see the point of getting this riled up over which characters make it into the roster. Disappointment is understandable, but there's a line somewhere between merely voicing your disappointment, and spewing venom at the creators as well as the many fans who requested the character. The second one seems uncalled for.

You want to see people calm down and let others voice their complaints in peace. But I say, if some of these complainers would calm down and be a little less toxic, then we would be having that many fewer fights in the first place.

If tolerance of opinions is what you're calling for, then you gotta allow some room for people to voice their opinion that another opinion is weakly founded, or just flat bullshit. If opinions can't be questioned or opposed, then we might as well post our thoughts to a private diary where we're accountable to no one. I don't want to have to play a game of "Agree to Just Agree" just to uphold some warped definition of tolerance.

Now speaking as a Sub-Zero fan, that's some cold shit my dude. ;-)

I don’t mind Frost. She’s not the issue here. The real issue are the MKX returnees. None of whom are the least bit interesting.

Ironic you think he should sit out this time. While I've never cared about Kuai Liang's Sub-Zero before... as a Scorpion fan it's great to see these two teaming up to take down their common enemiy: the original Lin Kuei / Tekunin.

It's been a long time coming and it's easily the most exciting thing about MK11 for me personally.

That, and Scorpion / Noob crossing paths - but there has been any hint of that yet.

Hopefully they will be this time around.

Cassie had potential in MKX but I think she's more of a clone of her parents in MK11. I can't even tell her and Sonya apart in some videos.

FemJax... well, I'm sure people are aware of how I feel about her. On the plus side they are at least giving her another go - see if they can make her interesting. I just wish they'd offer that same opportunity to others. I guess Frost applies to that, but yeah... (give me Rain and Fujin)

I have zero feelings or opinions towards Erron Black. I forget about him most of the time.

Kotal is an interesting concept but I don't think he's lived up to his potential yet.
