I really do hope this is true. The rosters needs another male ninja.

The only reason I am giving this some credit is because of a YouTube video I saw months ago.

It was from The Game Zombie, he was one of the sources to correctly leak the mkx roster. He mentions in a roster prediction video for mk11 back in January that NRS has been supplying false rosters to people to make it difficult to know the whole roster.

Which is exactly the point to this. If NRS was sending out false rosters to confuse everyone, they did a shitty job.

That one character select image ruined everything NRS could've had to mess with people. There are only four characters left to reveal, one of which has already been seen in a recent trailer. All this 'false roster' mess can stop now.

People are getting so desperate they're starting to believe ANYTHING.

Not gonna happen, but if it did I don't think anyone here would be disappointed. There is so much they could do with Rain both design and story wise.

In that video he says Kung Lao was planned DLC, but he thinks he'll make it into base roster. He also said that some DLC is nearly finished (this was months ago), and that it's possible some of those DLC characters could be swapped around.

I'm not saying this leak is the real roster - It's possible it was at one point in time. I'm just not going to 100% believe any leak, and I'm going to wait for characters to be 100% revealed and confirmed playable.

Weird side note: Rain is the only character I have ever been able to do a Brutality with in UMK3/MK Trilogy.

I'd take it with a grain of salt. The game's almost out, though, and I'm sure there will be some surprises.
So by all means, it could be legit. But.. I'm doubtful, personally.

Mileena has been in tons of mk games time for her to sit one out as for rain Im doubtful anybody can talk bullshit on the internet.

we will wait until the closed beta or datamining to conclude anything but as of now, we ar getting 25 characters and 6 DLC. so 5 are not confirmed but out of those 5 , it isnt rain do to no repeating DLCs. I would put my guesses on Mileena, Shinnok, Reptile, Spawn, it could be anybody at this point except rain.

I have always liked Rain. I wouldn't mind at all if he was in.

Rain is dope but the official roster has been confirmed and no Rain. Only hope is for NRS to successfully keep secret characters safe from the leaks... given their history, doesn’t seem likely.

I don’t think Rain has much of a chance for DLC .

I never understood the uproar about Rain and Mileena at this point in the development. We saw how ineffective that was with Fujin in MKX. It's too late into the game's development for any characters to be added (at least, until KP2, which rsoter may even have already been determined now).

Chances are, they (more likely Rain) may make into MK11 via KP2 (if it happens) or in a future MK game.
