Well, I am fairly certain Shang is in and I just don't feel how this roster is true. Now if the game is covering the story of MK1-3 then that's by itself is a strong indication that Shang should be in. Stronger than D'Vorah or Kotal ( both are irrelevant ).

I've seen people say this before, and I'm pretty sure Steam would be none to appreciative if NRS submitted fake information to them just to jerk around fans.

Steam is a pretty big name, I doubt the people working for them would like having their time wasted being the middle man in a developer prank on fans, nor do I think NRS would ever got to such lengths as to actually use them in such a capacity.

It's funny, the reason you hate Cassie is exactly the reason I loved maining Cassie, from the opposite perspective.

Not only do her smartass remarks and insults interjected mid-round annoy opponents, and make playing as her insanely safistying... but that Fatality makes opponents SO butthurt it's hilarious. It's the ultimate insult.

Maining her was the most fun I've ever had in MK. I mained Cyrax in MK9, and he wasn't half as fun.

Grown up men who play with 17 year old blonde selfie whores to annoy others... Cassie is my ultimate hate for other reasons, I don't care for online play btw, I hate her because she is a selfie whore, and a boring character who destroyed two other cool characters, (I hate parent Johnny and parent Sonya, can't take them seriously anymore)

I even start to appreciate Jacqui more now I think about how stupid that selfie slut is.

I hope the mercy's are for friendships or some other extremely demeaning way to end a match

Because she sucks, not because online play. Most people enjoy that selfie whore, so you are not annoying anyone, I hate the character, not the gameplay.

Honestly the only waste of a roster spots I see are Jacqui was she only in MKX to be Cassies friend? Frost the reason why Sub-Zero is the weakest Kharacter in the reveal build of the game.

I wouldn't put a lot of faith in DLC characters. MKX had far too many guest characters, wasted slots imo. And of the MK ones, only two had any sort of story relevence to be included. I'd rather the guest character count be a good firm zero.

RE: Jigsaw...

Based on the context of your pairing him with Annabelle & Chucky, I'm going to assume when you say Jigsaw, you're referring to Billy the Puppet.

That said...

Why does the internet act like the puppet was alive? Billy the puppet wasn't the killer... he was just a freaking puppet Jigsaw communicated through. Jigsaw was a guy. Billy was a piece of wood sitting on a tricycle, with a speaker in his mouth.

I once saw one of those "Who would you want to be trapped in a room with" posts with a bunch of slasher movie killers.. and billy was on it, and I said, "Well... him obviously, because he's not alive, like the other 8 characters."

What's he going to do in Mortal Kombat, lie on his face while Chucky pulls all the weight?

(Note: I'm aware I'm ignoring Annabelle in this scenario, but I've never seen the Annabelle movies, so I admittedly don't know what her deal is.)

I'm almost positive we will get an MK4 character one way or another with Fujin being very high probability. The roster would be near perfect with the ninjas returning bring them back as secret unlockables (noob reptile smoke jade).

Three had story relevance, if you count that Tremor was the one who fetched the Dreamrealm bomb to boobytrap Raiden. Tremor's inclusion in the game was the only way we even had any idea what was going on with that.

Huminah-wah? What does the bomb from Tremor's ending have to do with Raiden? (Serious question, because clearly this is a detail I missed somewhere along the way)

It was the trap that sent Raiden skittering across "many strange realms" when he went to check on Shinnok's amulet and found it stolen. Hence why he disappears for a while until the part where Shinnok escapes.

I don't blame you for missing it. The whole thing wasn't written very clearly.
