I like outfits currently, but if they continue moving futher in direction it can get close to something completely ridicilous and something not cool at all and infact boring. Very boring and uncool. This would bad for female character in mine opinion.

I don't accusate Lead character designer in anyting, but a little bit suspect something. You know these closed types, who go out their way to prove themselves not to be someone, who they actually are.

it is Trade off, on one hand cool costumes, cool faces on the other hand uninspired not matching characters bodies in real life analogues proportions and compositions in best traditions of Dr. Moro.

I am all for respecteful quality design for Females, but i think, execution of this concept taking or may take direction, that i don't understand and maybe don't want to understand.

There is a double standard between males in females in MK. Disagree? Show me where a female is urinating in MK. It's ok when a male does it, seemingly forbidden for a female character. I could be wrong -- maybe you can unlock an intro where Skarlet is menstruating on the ground. Show me where a female is 3/4 naked. It's ok when Baraka is nearly naked, forbidden for a female character to show more than a sliver of flesh. MK9 was a hooker convention for female designs, if we even want to call their attire in that game designs. Skarlet was the worst offender in MK9 -- almost no design effort. Initially, MK11 had me concerned on female design. Thankfully, they have made some improvements since the initial reveal, such as Kronika and Sonya's faces. There are outfits that show some cleavage (Skarlet), and not all females are A-cups, now (Jade). What's the relevance in a fighting game? I like my males to look male, and my females to look female. Heresy in 2019, I know, where human biology is now a hate crime. In a time when we are preached to about equality, and equal representation, I think shaming the female body by pretending females do not have certain body parts is a step backwards, and exactly the mindset certain religions that revel in patriarchal subjugation of females applaud. We can find a balance between not making females look like hookers but also not forcing all females into the same 2 outfit options. That said, we have not seen all the gear for the fighters in the game, and maybe more creative outfits await. It's not the most pertinent issue of MK11, and I am not losing sleep over it, but it is factually accurate to note NRS has a double standard when it comes to male and female designs. I am thankful the designers of Soul Calibur VI did not cave to modern outrage culture and allowed character designs to stay true to their past.

That's some severe revisionist history there, friend. Herb Kohl (a Democrat) and Joe Lieberman (another Democrat, sensing a theme here) were the ones leading the charge to regulate or even outright ban MK in the 90s. Lieberman and Kohl continued their crusade into the late 90s, going after games like Resident Evil as well. They generally stopped caring about MK's violence in the 2000s once GTA became popular, but if you think their philosophy wouldn't also apply to sexualized females, you're nuts. They're (being those who agree with their mindset) still out to drain the fun from the game for a select crowd of people, it's just a different subset. I think it's funny how some people in here are all about inclusion until it comes to people they disagree with.

It's not so much importance as much as it is just calling out hypocrisy. Do people find the costumes sexy now? Yes. Does that bother me? No. I just want to know why it bothers others that there are people that want more revealing costumes. MK has always been the epitome of politically incorrect. To say that it only became a "problem" with regard to her in 9 is a bit disingenuous. Go look at her Deception alt and tell me you're fine with it, if this is the position you're taking. Sonya, same thing with her famous thong wedgie DA outfit. I personally felt that Sonya's DA costume was stupid and I'm someone who can handle seeing a little skin. MK9 might have been the "worst offender" to you guys in this regard, but to say that it wasn't a problem until then seems a bit off to me.
