Anything is possible... I'm actually very surprised we have had ZERO leaks this time. Regardless i'm counting the days til E3

Looking over Combo Breaker’s current scheadule, there’s no amount of time set aside for a major announcement and I gotta believe if it is going to be revealed at CB, the T.O.’s would be hyping a “special announcement” through the roof.

Either way, CB is this weekend and E3 is right around the corner, we don’t have long to wait.

Guess it could be a surprise announcement ? 4Chan is right sometimes you know ? XD

Somehow I am in a state of indifference, as not to get my hopes up, and pure unadulterated hype. I don’t even get how that’s possible.

I would say chances are incredibly high that we get at least some form of acknowledgement, if not a formal announcement, regarding the next MK. I'm sure that juiciest tidbit will be left for E3. But as for this weekend....yes, something will definitely happen. Of that I'm sure.

Regarding the leak on the return of Tag mode, it was inevitable. This leak is actually quite believable because it DOESN'T contain a lot of information. Small leaks are often factual leaks. Obnoxious and huge leaks generally are fake. The MK team has always been very good about containing leaks...the biggest spoilers always come from Boon and NRS themselves. For whatever reason, Ed just can't help himself to spoiling every aspect of the game, including story and fatalities, months before release. That's why, as always, I will probably go info dark after the official announcement.

I am so ready for this reveal. Just hope they take some chances with the roster this time around. MKX felt super safe when it came to returning characters.

If tag team is back, I'll be ecstatic.

Well, the event’s here and the silence has been deafening as far as social media is concerned. I have a hard time believing they’re just gonna casually drop a teaser at some point this weekend without so much as even a hint. I hope I’m wrong and I’ll be watching. But I don’t expect anything to come of this “leak”.

Yeah, I started to doubt it either... It's just carrying 0 hype.

Boon would've hinted and trolled by now about it. It ain't happening this weekend.

What next? E3 or some sort of pre-E3 announcement?

My eyes are on the week before e3. They typically drop the cg teaser late that week with a gameplay showcase at e3 to follow. Everyone ready for the 100s of "how do you come up with those fatalities" questions?

LOL. I don't know why journalists think that that's the smartest question to ask.

Anyway, 2 weeks from now.

Or the "What's it like for Mortal Kombat to still be relevant?" questions. Those aren't as frequent but they still bend me out of shape just as much.

They're idiotic fandom questions. No-brainer thoughts from people who just want to hear themselves talk and receive a response from Ed Boon. Sort of like the barrage of comments and questions he gets on twitter, except in situations when they do a reveal he's sort of stuck answering them.

Now that has flown, maybe we'll get something between June 2 to June 7.
