While extremely unlikely, it's worth noting that there have been official DC / Marvel crossover comics in the past, so the DC link isn't a guaranteed end to the discussion.
It's worth noting that Disney actually does have a business relationship with WB games since closing Disney Interactive in 2016.
I know this is off topic from Deadpool as a guest character in MK but I have hope that someday we will get a game that crosses over Injustice with Marvel. After seeing NRS's work with DC characters in the first two Injustice games I think they could totally handle a Marvel Vs. DC game. If they could come up with an arrangement on splitting the profits Disney and WB could make SO much money off of it. It would be, commercially speaking, one of the biggest video games of all time. Certainly the biggest fighter.
A full DC vs Marvel game might run into issues with Capcom depending on how their Marvel vs Capcom deal is structured. If they have exclusive rights then it would be impossible.
Multiple studios aside from Capcom make Marvel games. Just look at that new Spider-Man game on PS4. So I am pretty sure they don't have exclusive rights to making games with Marvel characters.

I realize they don't have exclusive rights to games featuring the characters, but could they have exclusive rights to games in the fighting genre? My instinct would be no, but the only non-Capcom marvel fighting game I can think of is Activision's X-Men Mutant Academy from back in 2000 so idk.
