Of course, this would mean that NRS would have worked a little more to make a roster of at least 30 characters. We would have gotten a game with 43 characters by the end (39 from the Mortal Kombat franchise). I know I left out a few good characters, but would you be satisfied with this?

Cause from what it's shaping up now, we already know 10 characters, the rest are Liu Kang, Kitana, Kung Lao, Johnny Cage (seen in a video in the background), Cassie, at least 2 more kombat kids, Erron Black (leaked by achievements data), Kotal Kahn, Jade, Noob, Smoke, Mileena (too requested not to be), probably Shang Tsung, maybe Jax, maybe Kenshi, maybe Nightwolf, 2-3 more new characters, Shao Kahn. I'm already past the 25 number. So about 5 of those will go to DLC.

Rain, Reptile, Shinnok and Cyrax are out at least until DLC in my opinion. They have icons for modifiers in a way none of the other characters have. That will not be Rain in the konquest picture. (I know, it sucks, I want Rain too, he'll probably make DLC though).

No 3D era characters, which sucks. People are pushing for Fujin and Havik so I think they'll be DLC. But definitely no Reiko, Tanya, Frost, Drahmin, Ashrah, Onaga, Daegon, Taven or Sareena. Whom I have been expected for 12 years (since 2007's Armageddon, last time I played them).

Edit: It's not my PERSONAL favourite roster, it's a roster I made taking into consideration various plotlines: a Netherrealm Alliance, Raiden attacking Outworld and Kotal Kahn asking the Elder Gods to defend it in Mortal Kombat, Takeda and Kenshi waking up Taven to get revenge on Daegon, Rain son of Argus and -secret-, Mileena after death, Noob-Havik alliance...

I don't like Jacqui or Kung Jin or the kombat kids that much but I had to put them in cause I understand NRS won't ditch them after just 1 game.

I know I left out some great characters (and I'm sorry, I know Sindel or Tanya have fans, me too), but I still think it would have been much better than the current roster of MK 11 with Kano and Sonya (and shaping up with Jax, Sheeva or Stryker too). I mean, they're fine characters too, I love All MK characters, but they should have been NPCs.

If you want, from the DLC packs, replace Ashrah with Sareena, Johnny Cage with Kenshi or Ferra/Torr with D'vorah. They have rather similar importance in the story.
