Taken from my post on the ghost town of the Mortal Kombat 2011 DLC thread.
The Kenshi, Sheeva, Smoke, and Baraka artwork was posted early May, but the Skarlet photos were recently uploaded.
Just thought I would share this, as I find this sort of stuff interesting. There are no scans here, by the way.
Sorry for the small thumbnails. Also posted links to help out.

It's interesting to note that the dragon on his sash is in the European style (bat wings, breathes fire), while the dragon on his shinguard is in the Asian style (like the MK symbol.)
There's an artist named Marco Nelor, who worked with NRS for the last two months of development. On his blog (no scans present!!), the full Kenshi concept, in good quality (though I'm still puzzled as to why there's a dirt cloud around his legs), artwork from Baraka and Smoke's endings, as well as a picture of Sheeva, are shown. Here's another of Baraka.
It's all his work, apparently. All work has the "Trademark Warner Bros." listed.

Also on his blog, you can find a few pieces of Skarlet artwork (one piece from her ending, and a cartoonish one of her striking a pose with her swords.

Hope you enjoy it.
On a sidenote, you can no longer find that Skarlet artwork on his blog. Hmmmm...

LOVE The Skarlet!
I now have an urge to see a brand new animated MK movie.

Kenshi looks bitchin.

Oh sweet, a clear image of the last shot from Baraka's ending, with the individualized Tarkatans.

Amazing find! Great job

Kenshi looks like some kind of frigg'n emo computer geek super hero. He sure as hell don't look like a samurai. Yeah, I'm exactly as disappointed in him as I thought I'd be. Why couldn't we have had Lady in Purple instead of this waste?
Skarlet on the other hand looks great, though why does she have Ivy's boobs?

Oh shit, Kenshi looks good. I like the new hair, and the facial scarring is a nice touch. I like that the armour actually looks like armour now. At first I thought it seemed a bit too modern or futuristic, but he isn't exactly from ancient Japan. He should be modern. One of the things I found coolest about him was that he was a mystical "samurai" but still a member of the OIA, who were all about technology.
I find the blue orb on his glove to be a bit weird, and the fact that his spaulder is on the wrong side annoys me a bit, but other than that I don't really have any complaints. Oh, and his katana is missing, but I assume (and hope) that's just for the art and that he'll still have it in the game.
Looking forward to seeing the actual model.

Because that would truely be a waste. She wears a string and a sash... how is that any more creative than Kenshi up there?
Anyways...
Nice art though. I like that Kenshi has that Metal Gear Solid feel to him. A hot guy in a tight suit never goes wrong in my book. And I like the hair. It was one of the things about him I didn't like in the past games, because it seemed bland. It's more stylish this time.

I only have two complaints about kenshi's design.
1) the hair - it looks emo, I prefer the short spiky hair.
2) the sash - the one thing that I always hated abot his deadly alliance design. it looks so traditional compared to the rest of the costume.
but other than that I love the design, especialy the blue orb on his hand.

Your obsession with the lady in purple ends here!

He looks very futuristic, like something you'd see in Mass Effect. Maybe that blue orb on his hand is the source of his 'teleketic' powers. Why else would it be there? I too, dislike the hair.
I like Kenshi's hair. It just needs to be a little bit shorter so it doesn't have the whole emo swoop effect. But it's boyishness makes him more youthful, which is very much a good thing. MK doesn't have a youthful male character. They all seem so.... Aged.. Even the young ones. Hardened by years of combat I suppose.

his alt is probably his deception attire

Also I like the hair. But yeah it needs to be shorter. I mean he alread has a blind hold on why does he need his hair to cover his eyes.

I really didn't like that costume. Something closer to his MKDA alt would be nice.
I think the hair is a good length. Like Harle said, it makes him look more youthful, and he should probably only be in his early 20s in this game.

I really hope the orb is the origin of his powers, it would be alot better than "he has telekinetic powers because of his sword". maybe it glows when you use it

His ancestors gave him the power, through the sword. What would be the point in retconning that? The orb thing would just be pointless and make him seem more like a Marvel superhero than anything.

There are people who actually liked his Deception primary?
Weird.
Weird.
