Aussie Kano all the way. Yeah, he started off as an American-Jap, but really it was too bland. Trevor Goddard took the character into a whole new level in the first MK movie and redefined him to who he is today in the MK universe. More interesting, more unique, more badass!

it has been a long time you discussed about kano and what he said when starting his x-ray. But I understand "my turn" at the beginning and "no charge" at the end as well.

And another question: Is it known who gave kano the voice in the story mode of MK 2011? I like kano, he's cool. LOL.

For those of you that might not know, the East end is where the now Australian accent originated, hence the similarity.

He's also the voice of Ermac. And he did Seth, the end boss in Street Fighter 4. And Astaroth in Soul Calibur 3 and 4.

I really liked that they also gave kano the costume Trevor wore while he was on the ship in the one movie scene. R.I.P. Trev you will be missed. "ello bayby! did ya miss me?"

Newbies don't know the three months rule. Some slack can, on occasion, be cut.

Interesting fact I read the other day...

Trevor was an English actor. Kano's accent in the film was actually cockney English, similar to an Aussie. But the audience mistook his English for an Aussie one and the latter was incorporated into later games.

It's more that Trevor deliberately faked an Australian accent in various roles.

For example, I've seen him in a commercial that had a kangaroo in it. England doesn't have Kangaroos.
