Have Raiden and Liu Kang have a falling out over killing a BIG BADDIE so Kang leaves or gets killed for being a little girl about everything....then step in the NEW CHAMPION....KENSHI who has no issues killin the baddies!

The second time around I mean.

I want Sindel back too. I dont think they would change that much history. Edenia is too tied into they mythos and MOST of the remaining story would not happen. I think some other things will happen that involve Shinnok making an earlier appearance or like someone else said, killing off Shang Tsung which would allow for an earlier appearance by Quan Chi.

In the original when the first Mortal Kombat was gonna be made it was supposed to be about a martial arts movie actor who competes. I wonder if they'll have Johnny Cage win it. Then again back then they were hopin' to get Jean Claude Van Damme signed for the digitized actor part of Cage.
Or.. other possability, "Johnny Cage" doesn't appear in another game called blood storm (I think it was called) causing him to be randomly fired..er..killed later only to find he had a fan following after a movie and he gets brought back to life by the game creators...er...I mean the elder gods and causing an onslaught of deaths and resurrections causing the storyline to make no sense and causing Raiden to have a cameo in another game as well followed by more story changing
(let's get back to the original here, people LOL )

I do notice that Johnny has been in a LOT of the games. For being referenced as a "joke" character by some, he has been pretty damn prominent.

I wonder if they are going to introduce some of the MK4 cast early due to changes Raiden. thats what I'm hoping!

The two likeliest choices for tournament winner I think, if not Liu, are Kung Lao, and Raiden himself.
