Before anyone gets their knickers in a twist, this is not a thread about guest characters! This thread is about you picking a character from another game and giving them a Mortal Kombat make-over. What character would you like to see in Mortal Kombat?
Here's an example...
Black Orchid (Killer Instinct)
Bio: A secret agent who is working for an organisation covering for supernatural activities happening in Earthrealm, Black Orchid has for a long time searched for information about the secret tournament called "Mortal Kombat". After having found out where this tournament takes place, Orchid is ordered to go undercover and partake in this secret tournament to gain even more information.
Reason: Killer Instinct is a franchise which is alot like Mortal Kombat, but with the main focus on the combo system. Orchid is my favourite character from that game and I think she would fit perfectly amongst the rest of the MK roster.
Fighting Style: Orchid dualwields tonfas which can be electrical charged to do extra damage or stun the opponent, and she prefers to make use of them rather than unarmed combat. She is fast and cunning, relying on close melee combat and most of her special moves will have her close in on the opponent.
Special Moves:
Tonfa Spark: A projectile move. Orchid charges her tonfas and shoots out a couple of electrical sparks at her opponent.
Flik Flak: Orchid does a spinning cartwheel kick at the opponent, hitting twice with her long legs.
Fire Cat: Orchid turns into a feline form of pure energy and pounces at the opponent with claws first.
Air-Buster: Orchid jumps diagonally up in the air with a knee attack, doing a pop-up at the opponent.
Tiger Slide: Orchid slides towards the opponent with a kick, tripping the opponent.
Spinning Tonfas: Orchid spins around and swings her tonfas vertically upwards, doing a pop-up at the opponent.
X-Ray Move: Orchid charges her tonfas, then smashes one of them into the opponent's chest, cracking their ribs while sending an electric jolt through his/her body. She then spins around and smashes the other tonfa into the opponent's back, breaking his/her spine, and to end the move she sends yet another and more powerful jolt through the opponent, sending him/her flying face forward into the ground which breaks his/her skull.
Fatalities:
Electric Tonfas: Orchid charges up her tonfas and then sends a wave of electric energy at the opponent with fries the flesh and skin off his/her bones on the spot.
Heart Attack: Orchid unzips the top half of her leotard and exposes what is underneath at the opponent whose heart stops at the sight and falls over. Orchid zips up again and then walks over to the jittering body of the opponent, stomps through the opponent's chest and crushes the heart under her boot.
Winning pose: Orchid puts her tonfas into their holsters, then runs her hands through her hair while smirking seductively at the camera, winking teasingly.
Ending: Orchid's cover was busted by Sonya Blade who knew about the secret organisation, but was impressed by her skills in combat and asked her help to stop the Black Dragon leader who also participated in the tournament, Kano. Orchid agreed and advanced in the tournament until she was facing Kano.
During the fight, Orchid had Kano tell her about what the Mortal Kombat tournament was really about. The truth distracted Orchid and Kano eventually beat her, however, Sonya tagged with Orchid and defeated Kano who managed to sneak away as Sonya gave Orchid a helping hand back on her feet.
Realising what was at stake, Orchid left her duties momentarily to aid the other Earthrealm fighters to defeat Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn, and stop the merging with Outworld. When Earthrealm was finally free, Sonya offered Orchid a place amongst her unit, the OIA (Outer-World Investigation Agency), however, Orchid declined and reported back to the headquarters.

Well, I made this thread with the new MK in mind, and I find it a creative way to pass the time before the game's release. If it will be closed or removed though, then oh well, that's the mods' decision.
By the way, is this the character you were referring to?
His name is Al'Rashid and is from the game "Mace: The Dark Age", another fighting game made by Midway for Nintendo 64. ^^

Sounds fun,let's try my favorite videogame character of all time...
Name: Mario Mario
Bio: Originally an average human from Earthrealm, Mario found himself the target of many attacks by supernatural creatures. Desperate for safety, Mario fled with his brother to the Realm of the Mushroom Kingdom, where he met the elder god, Miyamoto, who tought him the ways of kombat. Realizing the threat Mario posed to his tournament, Shang Tsung hired the evil beast, King Bowser, to destroy Mario. However, Mario managed to defeat Bowser in Mortal Kombat and became the Champion of his new home. Now, hungry for revenge, Mario and his brother, Luigi, must return to Earthrealm to go up against the evil sorcerer himself.
Special moves:
1. "Coin Bash": Mario jump-punches your jaw and knocks coind out of your skull. In the enhanced version, even more coins will come out.
2. "Bouncing fire": Mario Throws a bouncing fireball at you. The fact that it bounces makes it unpredictable and hard to block. In the enhanced version, Mario throws two instead of one.
3. "Warp Pipe": Mario goes through a pipe and warps to the other side of you. In the enhanced version he will attack afterwards.
4: "You-a get over here-a!" Mario summons his pet dinosaur, Yoshi, who uses his tongue to grapple you over to him. In the enhanced version, Yoshi will hit you with an egg before he grapples you.
X-Ray: "Hammer Time": Mario gets out his trusty hammer. The hammer theme from Donkey Kong starts playing and Mario starts pummeling you with a hammer, showing bones breaking as he hits you.
Fatality 1, "It's-a me, Mario!" Mario eats a mushroom, and you see him get big and buff. He jump-bashes your head clean off. The camera focuses on your head as if flies up and hits a block. A coin comes out of the block.
Fatality 2, "Evil Warp Zone": Mario summons a pipe below you. You fall through and are warped to Bowser's Castle, where Bowser chops the bridge you're standing on and you fall into the lava below.
Oh, and just for fun, a Hara-Kiri, "Poison Mushroom": Mario eats a poison mushroom and he shrinks. He eats another one and dies by falling off the screen while that classic "You died" theme plays.

Victory Pose: Mario twirls around and does the peace sign, yelling "HERE WE GO!" as the camera zooms out and fades.
Ending: Mario defeated many powerful warriors for his opportunity to face Shang Tsung. At the final battle, he demonstrated skills un-thought-of by any mere mortal, and defeated the sorcerer in a matter of minutes. However, Mario's quest had only just begun. Shang Tsung's plethora of captured souls did not ascend to the heavens like they were supposed to. Instead, they went to Bowser, who had been hiding in the shadows the entire time. Bowser had also found a loophole that nullified Mario's victory against him; since Mario was not originally from the Mushroom Kingdom realm, he should not have been able to compete in their favor. This unholy act gave Bowser means to invade the Mushroom Kingdom Realm. Enraged, Mario ventured back home to face and destroy Bowser for the last time!

Rayne (BloodRayne)
Bio: A vampire looking for her father Kagan, and kills any vampire that crosses her path. She is working for the Brimstone Society.
Reason: She looks like Kira.
Fighting Style/Special Moves: BloodRayne gameplay
X-Ray Move: Turns the opponent around and uses her blades and jams it up there spine following with a bite to the neck. Sounds like a fatality I know.
Fatalities:
Bloody Rayne: Cuts the opponent limb from limb Scorpion style, uses her blade to pick up the torso. Drinks the blood leaking out.
Vampire feast:Jumps on opponent Nitara style stabbing the opponent over and over, while she sucks all the blood from the opponent's neck.
Winning pose: Mileena camera winpose, but instead have her biting at the camera.
Ending: Finds her father in outworld with his cult, kills both him and a cult member that turned out to be Kira lol. Didn't put much thought into this.

Game: Red Dead Redemption
Bio: After being dead for nearly a century notorious gunslinger John Marston finds himself mysteriouly resurrected in Outworld. Alone and confused Marston sets out to find out why he was brought back and more importantly how to get back to his own time. After tirelessly searching Marston learns of someone who may be able to help answer his questions, the god of thunder Raiden.Marston enters the Mortal Kombat tournament so that he can finally meet the thunder god.
Reason: I'm a huge western fan and I always thought thatit would be cool if Mortal Kombat had a gunslinger type character. Also Red Dead Redemption doesn't shy away from the gore. :)
Entrance: Marston is standing smoking a cigarette. He then sees his opponent and drops the cigarette and steps on it. then says "Alright friend I'll indulge ya."
Fighting Style: Marston fights using western boxing techniques. He has very weak and short ranged kick attacks but makes up for it by carrying numerous firearms on him.
Special Moves:
Quick Draw (middle): A projectile move. Marston draws his revolver from his waist and fires three rounds at waist height.
Quick Draw (high): A projectile move. Marston pulls a rifle off of his back and fires three rounds at neck high.
Lasso: Marston throws out a lasso and then pulls in the roped opponent.. He then pulls out a bowie knife and cuts at their midsection.
Fire Bottle:aA projectile move: Marston throws a fire bottle on the ground making a fire that burns for a few seconds. If his opponent touches the fire they are engulfed in flames and are dealt damage.
Shotgun Blast: Marston grabs his opponent and brings them in close. He then puts a shotgun under their chest and shoots them with both barrels sending them flying backwards.
X-Ray Move:Marston grabs his opponent by the shoulder with one hand, then hits the top of their head with the butt of his revolver cracking their skull. Marston then smacks his opponent on the side of the jaw with the butt of his gun again breaking it and causing some teeth to fly out. The opponent then staggers backwards as Marston then shoots a round into their chest causing them to fall.
Fatalities
Dynamite: Marston lites a stick of dynamite and throws it at his opponent's feet. Marston then runs for cover as the opponent is blown to pieces.
Dead Eye: Marston faces his opponent. Then everything goes to slow motion as we see a red x appear on his both of opponent's shoulders and kneecaps.It then speeds back up to real time as Marston draws his revolver and shoots all of the x's causing his opponent to drop to his knees. Marston then walks up to them and shoots them in the face.
Winning pose: Marston says "You brought that upon yourself friend." while inspecting his gun. He then holsteres his gun.
Ending: Once at the tournament Marston learns from Raiden that he knows of no way to send him back to his own time, but offers him his assistance if Marston helps to fight off Shao Khan and his forces. Marston agrees and helps the other Earthrealm warriors defeat the invasion.
After the two realms seperated Marston finds himself stranded in Outworld. He travels the wastelands searching for a way back home. Marston then comes across a village being attacked by a Tarkatan horde. Marston quickly attacks the mutants and easily kills them all. The villagers are thankful and offer Marston to be the protector and overseer of the village. Marston agrees seeing this as his one opportunity to finally escape his past.

Shotgun Blast: Marston grabs his opponent and brings them in close. He then puts a shotgun under their chest and shoots them with both barrels sending them flying backwards.
X-Ray Move:Marston grabs his opponent by the shoulder with one hand, then hits the top of their head with the butt of his revolver cracking their skull. Marston then smacks his opponent on the side of the jaw with the butt of his gun again breaking it and causing some teeth to fly out. The opponent then staggers backwards as Marston then shoots a round into their chest causing them to fall.
Fatalities
Dynamite: Marston lites a stick of dynamite and throws it at his opponent's feet. Marston then runs for cover as the opponent is blown to pieces.
Dead Eye: Marston faces his opponent. Then everything goes to slow motion as we see a red x appear on his both of opponent's shoulders and kneecaps.It then speeds back up to real time as Marston draws his revolver and shoots all of the x's causing his opponent to drop to his knees. Marston then walks up to them and shoots them in the face.
Winning pose: Marston says "You brought that upon yourself friend." while inspecting his gun. He then holsteres his gun.
Ending: Once at the tournament Marston learns from Raiden that he knows of no way to send him back to his own time, but offers him his assistance if Marston helps to fight off Shao Khan and his forces. Marston agrees and helps the other Earthrealm warriors defeat the invasion.
After the two realms seperated Marston finds himself stranded in Outworld. He travels the wastelands searching for a way back home. Marston then comes across a village being attacked by a Tarkatan horde. Marston quickly attacks the mutants and easily kills them all. The villagers are thankful and offer Marston to be the protector and overseer of the village. Marston agrees seeing this as his one opportunity to finally escape his past.

Bio: After being dead for nearly a century notorious gunslinger John Marston finds himself mysteriouly resurrected in Outworld. Alone and confused Marston sets out to find out why he was brought back and more importantly how to get back to his own time. After tirelessly searching Marston learns of someone who may be able to help answer his questions, the god of thunder Raiden.Marston enters the Mortal Kombat tournament so that he can finally meet the thunder god.
Reason: I'm a huge western fan and I always thought thatit would be cool if Mortal Kombat had a gunslinger type character. Also Red Dead Redemption doesn't shy away from the gore. :)
Entrance: Marston is standing smoking a cigarette. He then sees his opponent and drops the cigarette and steps on it. then says "Alright friend I'll indulge ya."
Fighting Style: Marston fights using western boxing techniques. He has very weak and short ranged kick attacks but makes up for it by carrying numerous firearms on him.
Special Moves:
Quick Draw (middle): A projectile move. Marston draws his revolver from his waist and fires three rounds at waist height.
Quick Draw (high): A projectile move. Marston pulls a rifle off of his back and fires three rounds at neck high.
Lasso: Marston throws out a lasso and then pulls in the roped opponent.. He then pulls out a bowie knife and cuts at their midsection.
Fire Bottle:aA projectile move: Marston throws a fire bottle on the ground making a fire that burns for a few seconds. If his opponent touches the fire they are engulfed in flames and are dealt damage.

This is great he could I corporate his knife in his fighting. I wouldn't want him to be only special moves though.

Bio: Hell, the Nether Realm, The Inferno. Different names, but all the same place. When Al Simmons was murdered he was sent to the deepest, darkest reaches of the 8th level of the Netherrealm, ruled by the demon lord, Malbolgia. Striking a deal with him, Al Simmons agreed to become general of Malbolgia's army if he could see his wife Wanda once more. To make certain that the Nether Realm's invasion of Earth goes according to plan, Malbolgia bends the rules of the ancient tournament of Mortal Kombat and places his newly forged Hellspawn as a combatant. Aided by an endless supply of necroplasmic energy and unfathomable physical strength, Spawn enters the tournament to bring on the Apocalypse, all so he could have a chance to be with his Wanda just one more time.
Reason: Spawn's design is so fantastical and weird that visually he fits right in with the rest of the cast of Mortal Kombat. He's also just as pulpy of a character as the rest of the MK cast and seeing him in an M rated game where he can dismember somebody like he's been known to do in the comics would be really satisfying.
Entrance: Spawn floats down from the sky, his cape fully extended behind him before it shrinks and shrivels up inside of his armor. His eyes glow green with necroplasm and his chains come to life around him, snapping at the opponent.
Win Pose: Spawn's cape flows out once more, taking up most of the screen before it envelops him and he disappears off screen.
Moves:
Necro blast: Spawn channels energy from his suit and fires it out of his finger tips in the form of a ball of green necroplasmic energy.
Levitation: Spawn can levitate for 5 seconds in the air where he has access to several new moves:
Diagonal Necro Blast (Lev) While levitated, Spawn can fire his Necro Blast down at the opponent.
Hell's Doorway (Lev)
While in the air, Spawn can spin down like a buzz saw with his chains whirling around him.
Chain Prison: Opening up a doorway under the opponent's feet Spawn can shoot his chains downward and up under the opponent, encircling them and holding them in place for several seconds.
Chain Pull: Spawn wraps one of his chains around the opponent's neck and pulls them close to him:
Chain Slam (Ex Chain Pull) After wrapping the chain around the opponent's neck, Spawn whips the chain upwards, sending the opponent up into the air and then slams them down into the ground several times.
Fatalities:
Spawn's chains shoot into the ground and then appear everywhere around the opponent, entwining their arms, legs and neck, lifting them up into the air. The chains grow razor sharp edges along the lengths before quickly pulling in opposite directions, slicing the opponent to pieces.
Spawn grabs the opponent by their head, lifting them up with one arm and begins absorbing their life energy. The body starts to rot and decay as skin, muscle tissue and appendages begin to fall off and peel away.
Ending:
Having bested his opponents in Mortal Kombat, Spawn finds himself against the Emperor of Outworld, Shao Khan. Spawn's suit urges him to fight, controlling his actions as if it can almost taste the power his opponent wields. Khan proves to be no match for the Hellspawn, Al Simmons quickly and decisively dismembers Kahn. Feeding on the Emperor's well of vast power, Spawn has become a god in his own right. With this power Spawn decides to return to the Nether Realm, not to bring about the promised apocalypse, but to destroy his own master and claim the 8th level for his own rule and his own purpose.
