I think Motaro is a good choice for a few reasons;

They did express wanting to sculpt alot of the MK9 cast. Motaro however, was probably NOT on their radar with the minimal role he has in the game and all.

Since WB provides them with reference artwork, this a good chance to get a better look at his MK9 design. His story mode scenes are so minimal.

I also think the fact that he appears so little in the game makes this statue at bit more special and he's really just an impressive character visually with the horse body and all.

Always wanted to see a Motaro piece like that done. All the bosses are great, but Motaro would be most interesting in statue form

For the record, I realise 100 people have to commit for it to be made, and I will voice the winner at Statue Forum (I'm a regular poster there under the same name) to help the cause. I know a few guys there that will commit to it for sure

Yes statue forum, the address is www.statueforum.com - it is very active and popular, and very addicting, the problem though it has cost me a bit of money lol (from seeing pics and info of what's out there)

I'm sure some members will join MKO, as they'd need to obviously do this to be entitled to the exclusive statues etc.. plus it is an awesome forum, there is alot of activity and some great threads.. I have reiterated ur message over there, but when a winner is chosen I will make a unique thread etc to gain more interest/gauge who will buy (and they will be directed to this site to order).. we have some hardcore MK fans over there.. alot of the same fans are also fans of Pop Culture Shock and street fighter

Edit - Can I just say that by 10" statue I think perhaps what they mean is more the scale rather than the size ""10". If, however, they do mean 10", I would rather we have a 1:6 or 1:7 (not sure what their exact scale is - but whichever it is, I'd imagine they'd do it in scale with the rest of the 10" line) and pay the bit extra, if everyone agreed prior to it being made that is.. and if he wins, that is! I only say extra (compared to the rest) because he is such a huge boss, and he would have an amazing shelf presence. If we want him done, we want him done right, no?

Motaro is such a unique character as Queve has said. I'm really happy he made it to the finals because that's who I would have gone with all along as well. I always really wanted him in any form because I found him so unique. He doesn't have much of a chance of being made any other time, and I've always found him most visually interesting out of the MK Bosses.. and this scale statue is the perfect platform as an ultimate reprsentation and collectible for the character. I also love the idea of the light-up feature just at the tip of the tail rather than an orb (agree that an orb could look cheesey - I'd rather a realistic look), that is a really great idea and would complement the line nicely. Also, should the MK3 Victory pose win (it's not over yet, but that seems to be the consensus for now) it wouldn't be forced and it would still suit it, as it would appear the end of his tail/tip is "illuminated" and just in idle ready to be used (or could be perceived as "cooling down" as he's just finished battle). Also, I am finding it difficult to fins some high-res klassic pics of Motaro, but I'm pretty sure he may have had red eyes (I know the new ones are white which are cool too), and IF klassic Motaro gets chosen they could perhaps use the same feature to light-up the eyes if possible.. don't get me wrong, I will be happy just for this statue to be made, but I agree with the suggestion on this cool feature, and it would add an even greater dynamic to the statue

p.s. I was the first person to suggest to Syco Collectibles to make the iconic MK9 Dragon. And I sure hope they do.
