In an interview during E3 Ed did say there might be "a few surprises" so I wouldn't discount the possibility of non-MKT roster characters just yet.

I know, and I'm hoping we do get some very pleasant surprises. A Quan Chi here, a Kenshi there, a Sareena right down the middle.


Maybe if we're REALLY lucky, Ed will give us the character we've been begging him to put in for years.

I'm also suspicious that female leg belongs to Nitara.

Nitara, the only vampire in the Mortal Kombat series, spends a long time trying to find a mysterious orb that binds her realm to Outworld before actually discovering its location. The orb, however, was inaccessible to her, submerged under molten lava. At one point she tricks the Outer World Investigation Agency agent Cyrax into retrieving the orb after sending Reptile to attack him.

Seems way too plain for Nitara to me. You'd think she'd have some sort of giant Hot Topic boots with belts and buckles all over the place. I mean, her MKDA primary was, according to the artist who designed it, "a female Vincent Valentine", and her alt was based on the rock band KISS.
