Pretty sure it isn't Mortal Kombat. I'd look for something at E3, but not Mortal Kombat.

Probably this if anything. I don't really think they need to make another MK right away. I'm not even done with this one yet.

IF they were to reveal a new MK in production, then it would be at the very early stages and would probably not be released until 2014. So I don't think it is too early to make hints for a new MK game.

The new Devil May Cry haven't even been released yet and Capcom has already hinted at a sequal.

I'd expect to see a MK spin off type game like shaolin monks or something. If they do a complete 180 from MK I'd be extremely surprised. I wouldn't be unhappy but I'd be shocked. If its a completely new type of game I'd love to see how they handle it.

Didn't WB say they wanted a tie-in game to go with the release of Kevin Tanchareon's movie which has a release date of 2013?

That's what I was thinking. If they were to show anything MK at E3 (and that is IF) it would be another action adventure game like Shaolin Monks.

I don't expect to see MK10 until 2014 at the earliest. So I wasn't expecting that to be revealed.

This. I think if NRS wants to go off and work on something besides MK then they need to hire more people to do so.

I could be completely off on this but it would be something like Ubisoft. They work on tons of other games, but they also work on more popular titles at the same time like Assassin's Creed.

Now, I realize that they aren't near as big as Ubisoft, however if they are going to branch out then they need to get other people to work on such projects while also working on their bread winner in MK.

Mortal Kombat is synonymous with Netherrealm studios and thus it would seem weird for them to not at least be planning something Mk.

I don't expect anything in 2012, NO. That would be too early. However, for them to release something at E3 would not be out of question to me. Look at it this way. They officially revealed MK9 at E3 2010. That gave us like 8-9 months to sit and wait for MK9. Now, they could reveal something about MK10 or even a spinoff like a shaolin monks type game because if they release it in the spring like MK9 then that will be 2 years since they have revealed or released anything.

Basically what it boils down to is that it shouldn't be out of question for them to reveal something at E3. I expect something along the lines of a Shaolin monks type game honestly. Hoping for that anyway. I want to see if they can do another genre how they do the fighting genre.

Seriously enough though, I would PRAISE the God's if somehow, that avatar that Ed changed it to is UMK9. As much as I love MK9 I would not like to see it die, but I would like some new material, DLC, new characters, but I doubt that's going to happen. I can see MK10 coming out in around two years or so, but I don't see anything being announced at E3.

I am actually thinking that they have something to show at E3. I remember Rigo, stating that their deadlines at getting closer. Also, a member complained about his much work he has and Paulo reminded him hat E3 is near.

An adventure non-MK/MK game would be welcome here.

I'm curious to see what they could do NOT Mortal Kombat related.
