I have the demo and I personally hate Sub and scorpions gameplay.
they are not fast at all and I can not master their combo's because they are so slow.
But the vid is cool.

That is a great stage.

Sektor laughing after every teleport punch is really annoying.

Scorpion slow? Wat?

I love the sound of the gravel crunching under their feet, and the helicopter chase looks epic. They obviously put a lot of time into the stages.

I was getting kinda annoyed by Sektor's laugh after the 7th time though. They should have switched it up like they did with Cage's shadow uppercut.

Whoa now scorpion is a hell of alot quicker than sub-zero.

Great video but did we need more Scorpion and Subzero action?

Yeah, I would have absolutely loved it if they'd have put Jade and Kitana in instead. Dun care about the robots either. Stryker & Kabal would've been cool though.

Everything looked spot on, Sektor only laughs when he connects with this teleport. And quick question, does Sub have his ice dagger move anymore? He needs more ice blades, rather than just that one sword with the same move.

Loving the dogfight between the dragon and the chopper upstairs.

Tag team mode is going to be huge.

Anyway, it's a good video to see. Really like that stage (ninje mime!) as it is now, much better than the old one.

Its the little touches I like.
Notice how when Sub-Zero headbutts Cyrax in his X-Ray, Cyrax doesn't open his mouth to yell out in pain, his jaw stays shut.

Yeah well I have to admit that scorpion is faster, but his gameplay isnt working for me as well. I used to love sub zero but his Ice puddle is just CRAP ( excuse me for saying ).

I don't like scorpion mainly because he always has to be center of attention. But that is my opinion. But subby and scorpy just aren't working for me in this game.

I loved the Helicopter vs Dragon Battle in the background. Scorpions new change out is great.

Can't wait to get my hands on theVBOX demo then the game on the 19th.

First:

I loved the vid. Mostly for the showcasing of the Roof stage. This stage is beyond awesome. Very detailed (right down to how their feet sound on the roof.) and the dragon/helicopter chase was a fantastic touch.


My only complaint:

Sub and Scorp ... again? Ok, now I know full well that I should not be surprised by this... but really?

They had a perfectly good chance here to show off some of the characters who've gotten little to no screen time. There are a good number to pick from now. Yet they had to bust out Scorpion and Sub Zero again "yawn". It's really getting to the point where I hate these two. Everyone who is an MK fan KNOWS that Scorpion is Boon's favorite character. It's understood. We do not need constant reminders via Scorp hogging all the camara time.

What about:

Jade?
Stryker?
Kabal?
Nightwolf? (haven't seen him in quite a while)
Kano?
Noob Saibot?
Baraka?
Sindel? etc etc..


Anyone but those two!

Not really the best gameplay we've seen. It looked like two newbies fighting eachother.

I hope there's a stage fatality involving someone being thrown down to the streets below... similar to the Pit 2 fatality! )

Yeah, i would love to see some of the other characters mentioned before.

I hate scorpion to. I did like subby but not anymore, they are always in front of everything. The cover is always theirs. I really really hate.

They should've just made this MK Tag Tournament, single battle seems so pointless by comparison.

definitely lovin' the outworld monster invasion theme going on in the mk3 urban stages. i like that the special forces sign seen in the bridge/taxi stage is present, as is the ninja mime sign from the subway; helps make it feel like one cohesive cityscape. the dragon vs. helicopter thing was shown in the dusk rooftop stage, post invasion, i think in raiden's gameplay trailer. it is nice to see the large amount of action going on in the background in addition to all the fighting. in closing, just remember... he is silent but deadly.

Is it just me or the gameplay is much faster than the demo, either the video footage is sped up or the game was made faster.
I play as Sub Zero all the time and he seems faster.
Im still wondering if he is gonna have his ice parry or not.

as for Sektor yeah the laugh gets annoying after a bit they should make it random instead of every time it hits.

Am I really the only one who is admiring how amazingly smooth and fluid the gameplay looks in this video?

Beyond that fantastic and epic Dragon+Helicopter Chase, I'm actually more impressed by the lack of "stiffens" and "robotic movement" that seems to characterize MK.

The gameplay might not have been great, but, the smoothness and fluidity of the characters and the fight is impressive. It's been upgraded a lot. looks so much better than all the other videos we've seen so far.

The dragon chase with that helicopter is really a fantastic touch. Epicness all over the place! They are making the MK3 invasion exactly as I had envisioned it when I was little.
