Do you think the Arena could be Shang Tsung's throne? I mean, technically it was never officially announced, right? The only ever confirmation we've had of it was cell-phone videos from PAX. Maybe the character reveal is Shang Tsung himself, and the Arena is his throne.

I'll have to disagree with you on the MK3 thing...They are getting some exposure but I'd like it to be a Mortal Kombat 1 Stage (We only have Tsung's throne Room after all) because it would fit the Liu Kang reveal.

You can't drastically change Liu Kang's design without it conflicting with who he is as a character. Liu is a bare chest and pants man. Not to mention this game is all about going back to the first three games, so it wouldn't make sense for him to get a totally unrecognizable new look "just because". Deal with it.

Uh. Sure. I don't care. His look literally hasn't changed since MKII. And NO the MK4 alt. doesn't count. It was an alt. They can add SOMETHING. I don't care if it's major or not.

My post was in reply to Liu Kang not needing a DRASTIC OVERHAUL. He doesn't "need" it. You may want it, but he doesn't NEED it. Especially not now considering this game is a throwback to the first 3. So it wouldn't make sense for him to appear totally unrecognizable for shits and giggles.

Raiden is the more likely option. We still haven't seen any actual gameplay of him,after all.

Kinda hoping Kang gets his simple black MK1 pants back. Virtually every other character apart from he and Raiden have sported a retro look at some point. Wouldn't hurt 'em to actually have him look younger too, like he did the first go around. Maybe it was the hair.

I don't know why they advertise it as Thursday. Well, at least for me, its on Friday.

GT ALWAYS advertises their GTTV episodes as airing on "Thursday night at 1:15AM" When in fact the correct time is "Friday morning at 1:15AM". They do not understand that 1:15AM belongs to the next morning and not the current evening.

There seems to be a counter on the main page of GT for the new episode (just below the carousel). Around 16 hours to go.
They seem to be highlighting the fact that there are new fatality's being revealed.
