When you're out of everything else, plain tap water still tastes better than anything with "diet" in the name.
And I am totally onboard for this Stryker thing. I think the dude gets a bad rap and his whole "everyman in a fucked up apocalypse situation" tale would be kinda captivating if we can actually see what he's going through via cutscenes.

You devious son of a bitch!
Stryker feels unfitting to me. Not because he's an "everyman", but because, as far as I can remember, he holds an extremely low level of relevancy to the story. He has no notable relationships to any of the characters, and just overall hasn't done much of anything, much less something important. It seems like the MK cast in general ignores his existence, and compel me to do the same. I would rather him not be in, but if he does return, I trust they'll make him at least tolerable.

That is the whole point. He is an accidental element.,
Not everything needs to be interconnected, or explained.

I'm just hoping that they can make Stryker look cool. In the MK3-Trilogy era, he always kinda looked like a mean Uncle Joey from Full House to me.
Then in Armageddon they gave him the two large knives on his back and the glasses that scream "douchebag" and I dunno, I just thought he looked like a dopey vigilante/super hero or something.
I'm kinda hoping we see something a little more S.W.A.T. perhaps, ya know, something that makes him look a little more badd ass.
Either way, never been a fan, thought his stick-flip move was a glitch the first time I saw it and while I hope that they can finally make him "cool" or whatever, I'm not holding out hope.
I can think of about 7 or 8 3D era characters I'd rather see in this game than Stryker, but who knows, they've made go from mildly indifferent to Sektor to thinking he looks awesome, so I'm not going to hate before I see what they actually do with him.

so what exactly had Blanka to do with the story of SF 2 ?
story relevance is important for a character people like to play with?
lol

I don't hate Stryker like I used to. If he is in the game, which wouldn't surprise me, I just hope that they retain the kind of look he had in MK: Armageddon.

First thing that came to my mind was Cyborg Sub-Zero (curse you misc. people on these forums!), but then he also said all the fan favorites, and Noob and Sub-Zero fit in that category. I thnk maybe he's talking about new characters, ones from MK4 onwards, or background/rumored characters. But who knows, that's just what I got out of it.
