Harley Quinn to me is hugely overrated as a character. Not to say she couldn't have been interesting, but of all of the DC characters that could have ended up as DLC in MKVDCU, they could do better than her.

In MK9's case, if they were going to include a DC character, the Joker himself would be preferable. He could be given his fatality in all it's uncensored glory, while Shang Tsung would get a new one in the clown morph's place. Tsung's clown form could be made an alt to the Joker. For the sake of completion, the Joker's Reiko-lite card throwing would be replaced by the Smilex gas fatality he should of had in MKVDCU.

I have only one glorious name:

Poison Ivy. Period.



And yes, they can make her a capable fighter. They did that for the Joker, after all.

I agree, ever since the Batman Animated Series (where she made her debut!) I have had nothing but ill feelings towards Harley Quinn, and the last thing Mk vs DC needed was a fourth Batman character, which is why I would also have passed on Poison Ivy. I would have loved Aqua Man personally. Or Martian Manhunter.

Undoubtedly, people would moan if a new guest character joined the cast. I'm not sure would it be that big if she was free and entirely optional. Taking in note that Kratos was compulsory and some of the Season Pass buyers felt being cheated.


There's a point.

Harley Quinn appears not to be the most demanded of the guest characters but taking in account that she might be at least half-developed already, it could be worth the effort. Although Poison Ivy appears to be interesting too.

Somebody has to ask for the Harley Quinn renders from NRS.

I say no to this simply because I don't want Harle Quinn to die EVER. Yeah, it's very fanboyish of me, but she shouldn't die. She's too lovable.

If anything, maybe she can manage to replace herself with a mannequin dummy or a stunt double (lol, could you imagine) before she gets killed.

I personally don't want another MKvsDC. I'd rather see MKvsWildstorm. They're basically DC on steroids/"grownup juice". Who needs Batman when you can have his gay, no-qualms-against-killing, hardcore counterpart: Midnighter?

I'd rather have Mortal Kombat vs Eternal Champions.

Kratos and Freddy serve the purpose of the game.

Harley Quinn does not.

Just because she was left out doesn't mean she can be DLC now, considering she was intented to be DLC of a now irrelevant game.

There's a reason why MK vs DCU was rated Teen.
DC didn't want their characters to be brutally killed.
