I own both and don't care much for SF. I found it quite boring actually. I didn't go on the SF forums and post a thread saying it sucks....I just stopped playing it. You should learn to do the same.

I love mk but i also love a well thought out fighting game and mechanics and tools for characters,,, MK is awesome for the run of the mil quick fix Bone head gamer but for a plan and ideas and making you think,, it FAILS,, i just want it to NOT fail,,oh and YOU SHOULD DO THE SAME... smilesadwinkgrin

Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat are equal in my book but it doesnt really matter since TEKKEN & SOULCALIBUR make SF look like a 1st generation Gameboy series.

Coming from somebody who's been playing fighting games for years now, I'll be the first person to state that both Mortal Kombat and SSFIV are great games and certainly better than MvC3.

Its obvious that you all have no idea what of what I'm talking about,,take away blood gore and challenge tower and the krypt and when MK's engine is left you will see that the game is pretty on the outside and shitty on the inside strategy wise,, Obviously I'm talking to a Bunch of casual players... Sad

MK doesn't have strategy huh ?

I do an ice clone and an enhanced slide to get you on the corner to get a tag on the corner. I keep drawing you to my corner with Johnny using the projectile to make you suffer through the way to end up in my corner where I can get 14 hits. I choose Shang as my 2nd guy in the tag to get more damage when I send you juggling and then transform into you. Kabal's cancel to scare you , Reptile's tricky combos and whether I should do an XRay or spend the meter on enhanced moves. This game is awesome !

They're just disappointed. They wouldn't be so disappointed if they didn't love the franchise to begin with. This game rekindled a lot of hope in people for the franchise, and for some, a lot of aspects to the game just feel like a letdown.
I am partially in that camp myself, for various reasons. I love MK, but there are a lot of things about this game that frustrate me greatly.

Great post OP. Kinda reminds me of Cyrax's bomb trap, The perfect set up. 5 pages over night, Great success.

Imagine what MKO could accomplish if that many people agreed on a practical, Feasible idea......
